We had an incredible stay at Sunset Serenity for a quick tennis tournament. The location was convenient to good food, the tennis center and the views from the front of the house are astounding. The property was as pictured and we had great communication from the host. We definitely recommend and would stay again!

Great stay!

My family had a great stay at Sunset Serenity. The location near the park is amazing, as we watched the sunset every evening. Communication with the property manager was fast and efficient.

We loved the property location so much!

The view of the ocean and access to the Nature Park, cliffs and beach below we're just perfect for our family. Quiet and peaceful and perfect for a few days of relaxation. Everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom and we loved the balcony and the garage parking.

Family Trip to San Diego

Loved our stay in the Point Loma area of San Diego. The home was fantastic and in a great location. The ocean views were spectacular and walking around Sunset Cliffs was relaxing and very enjoyable. Will definitely check this place out if back in the area in the future.

Fantastic Coastal Retreat

Gorgeous views in a spacious and comfortable retreat. A real treat to be steps away from this secluded and beatific part of the San Diego coastline. Short drive to great eateries in Ocean Beach and Point Loma. A Quintessential San Diego experience.

San Diego getaway

Beautiful and spacious home overlooking the ocean in Sunset Cliffs. Great hiking trails next to the home and stocked amenities for trips to the beach (umbrella, chairs, cooler, towels).

Amazing view, but the house itself has real problemsThe cliffside ocean view is exactly what the listing promised — that's the one thing I can't fault. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end.The moment we walked in, we were hit with a strong musty odor throughout the house that faded only slightly once we turned the A/C on. The home also showed neglect not reflected in the listing photos: dirty looking, unfinished baseboards with visible puttied/unpainted nail holes, a stained couch, and bathroom cabinetry that didn't match what was shown online.We left after one night and booked elsewhere. When we raised these issues, the management company called it normal "wear and tear" — including the odor and air quality problem that caused physical symptoms.Beautiful view, but I'd think carefully before booking.

We had the most incredible birthday weekend at Sunset Serenity on the Cliffs! The home is immaculate, spacious, and beautifully remodeled, with stunning ocean views from the balcony—perfect for chillin’ with friends at sunset. The kitchen was fully stocked, the bedrooms were restful and private, and every space was thoughtfully designed. What also set this stay apart was the exceptional customer service: when I realized I’d left something behind after checkout, the host made retrieval easy and seamless. A 5-star stay in every way—we can’t wait to return!

San Diego getaway

Rarely are rental properties better than they look online. This place is one that does. From a fantastic location literally across the street from Sunset Cliffs Natural park where you can watch the sun set over the ocean from the front deck to a clean , quiet home with excellent communication from the property manager our stay was wonderful.

A premier location and great neighborhood but there were issues with clarity and cleanliness. To be clear, there is NO Air conditioning despite the fact they told us at check-in there was. The windowsills and baseboards in the front of the house were filthy. Only one thin dish towel in the kitchen. The patio furniture is wobbly; you will definitely spill your drinks while you are trying to enjoy the view. The response and response time from the management company was lacking and ill-informed. There are such easy fixes that can be made to make the stay match the beautiful spot.
