Perfect for fishing

Right in the perfect spot for fishing and relaxing. South Fork is a short drive and Creede is right down the road. could have easily had two more people stay in the basement (which has its own private entrance and restroom). We will hopefully stay here again in the future. Everything we needed and perfect for our dogs.

Great Location!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin is in a perfect location right on the river, but there are a few need-to-know things. If you have any mobility challenges, this cabin will be a struggle. The spiral staircase up to the main bedroom is tight with narrow steps, so not a good fit for my bad knees. You have to go outside to the downstairs bedroom, and once again, there are stairs, but easier to navigate than the spiral staircase. It is a great cabin in a great location, but beware of this challenge.
Svar fra VrboOwner den 1. maj 2026
Thank you for your thoughtful and detailed feedback. We’re so glad you enjoyed the riverfront location—it really is a special spot. We also truly appreciate you pointing out the layout and access details. The spiral staircase and the separate exterior entrance to the downstairs bedroom can be challenging, especially for guests with mobility concerns, and your insight is very helpful for future guests when deciding if the cabin is the right fit for their needs. Thank you again for staying with us and for sharing your experience—we’d love to host you again and help find a property that better suits your preferences next time!

OMG! I fell in love with this cabin. The cabin was clean and comfortable and they went out of their way to accomodate my mother and I. The view is to die for and i cant wait to come back. River on one side and mountain on the other. We used it as a bar camp, but could have stayed there the whole time. We had issues finding out at first, but they were totally responsive, on a Sunday evening and stayed on the phone with us until we found the right turn. Ahhhh-mazing!

Snowboarding with our Son????

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a tragedy in our family, and our one sons passed. He and his brother would go every year. Anyway, our other snowboarding son could not find a friend to go this year, so he suckered us with the make it a family vacation. First, my wife and I hate snow and cold weather. However, this place has changed our mind. We travel all around the US and outside. This is one of the most beautiful places we have slept. The river was not frozen, but running. It was absolutely beautiful.

Thank you for sharing this with us. We are so very sorry for the loss your family has experienced. It means a lot that you chose to continue the tradition and spend that time together. We’re truly glad the home and the peaceful setting by the river could provide a beautiful and memorable place for your family to gather. Hearing that the scenery and surroundings made such an impression, even changing your mind about winter a bit, is very special to us. Thank you again for your thoughtful words. We hope the memories made there will stay with you, and we would be honored to host your family again anytime you choose to return.
