A modern take on a classic A-frame set on 5 private wooded acres in Roscoe. Thoughtfully designed for family getaways, remote work retreats, and mountain escapes, the home features soaring ceilings, a cozy wood stove, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, fire pit and a spacious wraparound deck. Enjoy complete privacy while staying close to the best of the Catskills: world-class fly fishing and swimming holes are just 5 minutes away, downtown shops and breweries are 10 minutes away, and Belleayre Mountain skiing is an easy drive. End the day around the fire pit beneath a canopy of stars.

Exploring historic and vibrant town of Roscoe is a must, with tucked away swimming holes, excellent eateries, vintage/antique shops, breweries, a distillery, taverns, farm stands, yard sales, and a weekly farmers market with locally sourced produce and artisanal goods.

For fishing enthusiasts, bring your waders! The Beaverkill river as well as other local fishing spots are less than a 5 min drive in either direction.

If you're visiting during the winter months, get ready to hit the slopes, with Belleayre Mtn Ski Resort a 43 min drive away. Feeling a bit less extreme? take a leisurely snow-shoe around the property, or warm up next to the wood stove while watching your favorite season of Survivor.

Beautiful place and amazing hosts. We loved sitting out on the deck, and the outdoor shower was a bonus! Clark responded super quickly and gave great recommendations. All around a lovely trip!

We had a wonderful stay in Roscoe. The house was perfect for our family of 5. Wonderful view. It was very clean and comfortable. Everything in the house was well thought out. Host was very helpful and provided great recommendations on places to visit and restaurants in the area. Close to the downtown Roscoe area and other interesting spots.

All eight of us, from 5 to 79, enjoyed our stay. The property was clean and comfy and Clark was a very responsive and friendly host. With an Xbox, a pool, a fire pit for roasting marshmallows, add a grill and picnic table for enjoying outside meals, even had we not wanted to explore Roscoe, we would've had plenty to keep us entertained for the 3 day holiday weekend. But the proximity to downtown Roscoe with great dining, an ice cream parlor, a brewery and distillery with live music and an incredible donation based tasting (to raise money for a worthy cause) make the location ideal. .We also enjoyed a drive to the nearby reservoir for a spectacular view of the night sky and a tour of the alpaca farm in a nearby town.

Property is family friendly. Definitely one of the best rentals I’ve ever stayed. It is clean and cozy. It has everything we needed for our stay. We enjoy the outdoor firepit and the indoor fireplace, specially the kids. We also enjoyed playing the different boardgames they have.Unfortunately we couldn’t use the pool because of the weather… it was a little chilly. The host: unremarkable. Clark is friendly and communicative. All instructions provided before and during our stay were on point. He was always available for any questions.Definitely coming back.

Many times the pics for a place are better than the reality. Not the case for this property. You will not be disappointed with this one. It was great. Clark is a very attentive and helpful host. You will love your stay here.

Beautiful wilderness getaway

The home was cozy and beautiful. The host was very kind and helpful. We had a wedding nearby and it was a perfect choice instead of a hotel.

Sweet spot, great host

Host was very responsive and accommodating. We had 7 of my closet friends of over 20 years all get together. House is close enough to do some exploring but secluded enough to feel like you’re away in the woods, like camping. Great time, great host

Amazing cabin.

Photos don't do this place justice! Amazing, lovely, and cozy cabin. Tastefully renovated and decorated with lots of room for our group of 7 (and one toddler). Beautiful open dining and living spaces with views out to the landscape. Clark was a thoughtful and responsive host. Can't wait to come again.

Peaceful Get- Away truly

Nice home with lovely living room and a wood-burning stove. Had planned to spend most of our time flyfishing at nearby Beaverkill River. But, alas fishing conditions were aweful because of the draught. So, we hiked and had a chance to enjoy the house and itts property. and and its property.

Amazing weekend getaway

Was looking for a fun & relaxed weekend with a large group of friends, and this house was perfect. Beautifully designed with modern amenities - but with all the woods and property you still feel like you are remote in nature. Even with a larger group, there was plenty of space between the many rooms/couches/common areas. Both indoor fire stove and outdoor fire pit. Did most of our cooking in the fully equipped kitchen, but there are also plenty of places in town about a 5 minute drive away. Will stay here again.

Sleep, unplug, nature

This really was a peaceful getaway. Great location and access point to Roscoe, Livingston Manor, canoeing, fly fishing and some easy trekking (heat wave while we were there so didn’t want to do any strenuous hiking.) Clark was a great host, ensuring we had everything ready for an easy check in and made himself available for any questions. The house was extremely comfortable and had everything we needed. Recent renovations make the house very modern and efficient. We’ll likely stay here the next time we come to the area.

A jewel in the Catskills

We love fly fishing and riding our Tri Glide. This is the perfect place for that. Very secluded with an outdoor shower and fire pit. Plenty of parking for trailers. The inside is laid out in a very open concept. Lots of windows for the mountain fresh air. Craig the owner is very helpful and very quick to address any issues. Super nice guy. The location is perfectly located between the Delaware rivers and the Beaverkill. A little over an hour to the baseball hall of fame. Cell service is very limited in the Catskills. Didn’t find that a problem at all. Actually a convenience after we got settled in.

My name is Clark, and I'm a filmmaker, born and raised in NYC. Growing up in the city, I loved my neighborhood and community, but longed for the outdoors and SPACE. As a kid I was fortunate enough to occasionally go skiing in the Hudson Valley and spend some labor day weekends in the borscht belt, falling in love with what my family and I referred to as "Upstate". For college, I attended SUNY New Paltz where I truly embraced the beauty and pace of the area, which left me wanting more...

Flash forward - In 2021 on the heels of the pandemic, my childhood best friend (a skilled carpenter, contractor, and now business partner) and I, embarked on an ambitious DIY journey - purchase a fixer-upper A-frame in the Catskills, and with our own hands and a ton of elbow grease, create a stylish modern ski-chalet. After countess weekends of hard work, 2 years later we can proudly say we are open for business! Less than a year hosting and it's been one of the most rewarding experiences to see people truly enjoying the getaway we created and the magic of Roscoe.

The town itself looks torn from a page of a great American novel - a historic downtown with one main street, home to excellent eateries, vintage/antique shops, a brewery, a distillery, taverns, farm stands, yard sales, and a weekly farmers market with locally sourced produce and artisanal goods. Even a museum dedicated to the old railroad that used to pass through, all within a 10 min drive from the house.

If you're visiting during the winter months, get ready to hit the slopes, with Belleayre Mtn Ski Resort a 43 min drive away.

What makes A-frame Oasis unique is it's location/ property. The home itself is away from the main road, with a 3 min drive up a private road through the woods. Surrounded by 5 acres of tall pines and the sounds of nature, you truly can relax and embrace the tranquility of not hearing or seeing your neighbors - just you, your people, and the outdoors. BUT town is a 10 minute drive away if you want to venture out for a nice cocktail or some live music.
