We had a large group of people in town for a funeral/reunion and this place was perfect for our needs. The host was very communicative and responded quickly.

Excellent lake home. Very clean. Beautiful lake with swimming area for kids, able to catch fish off dock. House was very well stocked. Garage was full of scooters, bikes, paddle boards, kayaks. There was nothing lacking. Would definitely stay there again!

What a beautiful home! We had a large group of 16 and there were more than enough places to sleep. But the beauty of the place was there were many places you could go to find a quiet spot to read or chat with a small group. The house is also perfectly situated by the lake, where from the deck you were just steps away from the lake. There were also many seating options outside that easily accommodates large groups. Brett was very quick to respond to any inquiries we had. My extended family had a great time!

Our host was wonderful and responsive to our questions/needs. We had lots of room and some great fun activities for the kids! (The game room and X-Box got good use!)

Thanks for the kind words and patience during your stay. This group experienced a toilet leak in the half bath and one sliding kitchen shelf broke during their stay. Both were fixed immediately after her group checked out.

Property is exceptional. Wonderful view, very comfortable and everything we could want for a long weekend getaway. Tons of space with places for groups to talk, play, do their own thing and gather together. Just outstanding, we have been before and will be back!The host is very responsive and helpful, making every part of the weekend a breeze.

Family Reunion

We had a long weekend in August and a great time was had by all. Massive number of sleeping spaces and so many games and water toys…for a large family who has rented over 10 different cabins like this- it was our favorite large cabin! Great communication too.

Stress free stay

So much space. Plenty of room for groups to spread out or get together. 3 large tables/chairs for eating or playing board games. Comfortable beds, linens, and towels. We enjoyed the game room. We would love to come back in the summer to enjoy the beautiful grounds and lake. We look forward to next time.

We enjoyed our stay at Big Bear Lake Home so much! We were sad that we couldn't stay longer. We were there for a wedding weekend and this was the perfect home base! Plenty of room for the 6 families that were with us. The place is gorgeous right on the lake and well stocked with everything that you need. You just supply your food. The communication with the host was great, as well. Very responsive which I appreciated. Thank you so much for a lovely stay at your lake house!

Wonderful!

The house was lovely, very clean and nicely decorated. The lake was beautiful with loons calling and a wonderful breeze coming off the lake. The games were a big hit as were all the places to just enjoy the views. We had a rainy stay, but we loved the stay and house. Brett was a super helpful host and he was very easy to work with on the rental and checkout. Fantastic!

Excellent Weekend

A group of friends get together for a long-ish weekend retreat every spring. The property was everything that was promised. Plenty of space, exceptionally comfortable and far more amenities than we could get through in just 2 days. Host made it incredibly easy to work out details and had everything we needed ready before we even asked. Access codes, passwords, tips on supplies and features and options in the area as well.

CSB/SJU Parent Weekend

We had a group of parents stay at the Big Bear Lake Home for parent weekend at CSB/SJU. We had an absolute blast. The accommodations were wonderful. Brett has used every inch of that place. There were so many fun nooks and crannys. He's thought of everything. It was fun to have a place to all gather. The location was great from both St Bens, and St Johns. Brett was very responsive to messages, a great host! Check in/Check out process was easy. Highly recommended! We are already looking forward to next year!

Fantastic Stay in Avon!

This home was perfect for us! We had multiple families with several small children (3 years to 10 years). The home is beautifully kept with a lovely great room for gathering and a garage game room for kid romps. The wrap around deck and gorgeous lake shore made a great setting for morning coffee from the coffee nook. The bedrooms are set apart, including a cozy basement bedroom, which easily allowed for different family schedules without noise. Oh, and there is a playground and beautiful new pickleball court within a short walk of the house. Brett was a great host, and we would absolutely stay again. Our group has stayed in many different spaces over the years before kids and after, and I can honestly say that this Avon location is our favorite space.

Fabulous Home! Favorite Summer spot ever!

We loved our stay here. From the beautiful home, to the great lake and view. There were 8-11 of us (depending on the day), and we had plenty of space. The kitchen had everything we needed, plus the extras most places don't have. The beds were VERY comfortable - from the bedding to the mattresses. We really appreciated the different tables for dining. We kept one for meals and used the others for games. The favorite spot by far, was the screen porch. We kept the windows open to catch the breeze and hear the loons. First spot that everyone headed to when they first got up in the morning, and the last place to hang in the evening to watch the sunset. Loved the coffee area, too. The Maui mat was a hit! We brought our own boat, and the dock had plenty of room to keep it safely tied up. The water was clear, and we could watch the little fish swimming. Catching the fish off the dock was the most popular pastime of the week. The teens loved the Bear Cave. There was just so much to love about this place. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful home. We will be back next summer!

This was a great place for our family weekend at the lake. The house was very comfortable and very well outfitted. There was plenty of kitchenware to serve our group of 14. It has a nice lakefront area, and a great view from inside the house. We loved watching the mama duck and her duckling, and we saw loons swimming right off the dock. The sunroom and coffee nook were nice to have a little quiet space. The little kids had fun on the small beach area, watching fish at the dock and playing with a nice assortment of inside toys,Communication with the owner was superb; there had been an issue with the city water plant shortly before we were due to arrive.. Brett alerted us right away, and had a link to the city communications so we knew what to expect.Be aware-here are some steps as part of the house has a step down area. It was no problem for any of us-- (late 60's to a 1 year)Overall a wonderful place for a grandparent-kids and grandkid get together. As we were packing up to leave, the dad of the youngest kids commented "this was a great place-- lets try to reserve this house again the next time we do a whole family vacation"
