We’re sorry the A/C was not able to bring the home down to the temperature you wanted while outside temperatures were extremely hot. The system may also automatically shut off when the home is unoccupied to help conserve energy, which can make it feel warmer when guests return. We also appreciate you bringing up the parking situation. Overnight street parking in Glendora is only free on Friday, Saturday, and holiday nights; otherwise, a city parking permit is required. We do send this information in our pre-check-in instructions, and we understand that it can still be easy to miss when arriving with a larger vehicle or trailer. If you are traveling with a larger vehicle or a truck and trailer, please let us know ahead of time so we can help coordinate parking as best as possible. Thank you again for your feedback. We sent pre-check-in, check-in, and other messages during your stay, and we did not receive any reports of these issues at the time. Unfortunately, receiving this feedback several days after checkout meant that we were not given an opportunity to address or resolve the concerns while you were here. Regarding the A/C, the fan operates automatically when the system is running, so some operational noise is expected. We’re sorry that you found the sound disruptive to your sleep. Regarding the kitchenette power, the circuit/power strip has a clearly labeled reset button that can be used to restore power. Had you contacted us during your stay, we would have been happy to assist you immediately. For the bedroom lighting, the outside light may come from neighboring properties. The blinds can be adjusted to block or reduce the outside light, and we would have been happy to help if you had let us know. As stated in our property description, the fifth sleeping space is a futon, rather than a standard bed. A futon naturally has a folding seam in the middle, which can create a dip when it is unfolded for sleeping. Regarding the thermostat, it is fully programmable with preset temperature ranges for energy efficiency. Guests can adjust and override the temperature at any time during their stay using the thermostat controls. The owners do not manually reset or remotely change temperatures. The laundry fee is disclosed in advance and reflects shared utility and maintenance costs, helping us keep the overall nightly rate competitive. In this case, the first vehicle was not parked within the marked space, which limited availability for the second car that arrived after 1:00 AM. We received your message at 1:19 AM and, unfortunately, were unable to respond until the morning. In fact, detailed parking instructions, including street parking restrictions, are shared in advance in the check-in guide and are also posted inside the home to help avoid this situation. We encourage guests to review these instructions prior to arrival. For clarity, our listing and photos indicate that the space includes a kitchenette rather than a full kitchen, and that laundry use requires a small fee. We aim to present all amenities and limitations upfront so guests can make informed booking decisions. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the pillows. We informed them this is front unit of the house separated from back unit at initial communication before their booking, but they simply had no memory of it. Their Vrbo invoice clearly showed the air conditioner fee but they just lied straight to the face that they never saw this a/c fee in their invoice, and blamed us that this is "hidden" cost. We have contacted Vrbo support several times to clarify that this air conditioner fee is upfront cost clearly shown in the invoice at their booking. However, they still blamed us for their own mistake. Be aware owners and hosts, please avoid these guests !!!
