This single-story home enjoys a beautiful position just across the Oregon Coast Highway and up the hill from Whaleshead Beach. It's located in the heart of the Samuel H. Boardman State Scenic Corridor- a place to hike the Oregon Coast Trail, explore secluded beaches and go for long scenic drives. Harris Beach State Park, Cape Ferrelo, the Thomas Creek Bridge, Natural Bridges and Arch Rock State Park are all within seven miles. Nearby, the town of Brookings features eclectic restaurants, shops, a small movie theatre and Azalea Park.

The cabin was designed to highlight its natural surroundings, from the covered front porch to the spacious sunroom. Enjoy a view of the ocean as you arrive and step out of your car in the driveway. There is a back deck with a gas grill and an outdoor table for meals, as well as a sheltered space for the hot tub. There is a 200-square-foot sunroom with windows where you can admire the sun rising over the mountains in the mornings.

The rest of the house is cozy and comfortable with a mini split system for heating and cooling, large windows and skylights letting in an abundance of natural light and a brand new mattress for your comfort. There's an open kitchen, an eat-in dining area where you can enjoy some of the provided board games and an inviting living area with a Roku-equipped TV with guest mode capability and Spectrum cable to screen your favorite movies each night. A second TV with a Roku awaits you in the bedroom as well. DVD player, DVDs and Oregon Coast themed books also provided.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. FIX THE BED! I had been trying to get time off planned for 6 months, and chose this rental over a few others. My wife and myself were looking to spend a couple of days in a vacation rental for part of our time off together. This looked like a great option when I considered the location, price, and a hot tub! All of that flew out the window when we went to go to sleep and found the condition of the bed!! We had no problem with the queen bed, but this was hands down the worst bed i have ever attempted sleeping in. After the first night of back problems from us both, I attempted to use every spare blanket provided to try and level the center of the bed out to get a better nights sleep. It didnt help at all! I could have had a better nights sleep at a seedy hotel anywhere. FIX THE BED!

Had a wonderfull relaxing stay!!! Such a lovely cottage. The matress needs replaceing tho.

Wonderfull stay at this cottage!!!!! So clean and neat and well equipped. The only thing is the beds matress needs to be replaced.

Great spot and view, but little to no effort put into cleaning it.

The cabin is in a great spot (you have direct neighbors, but the view is nice). The cleanliness was very disappointing and off-putting, though. There were crumbs and slimy stuff on the floor and a half-eaten cookie on the coffee table. There were hairs in the bed and some gross-looking substance on the bedroom door. The coffee pot was filthy and had to be thoroughly cleaned before use. The hot tub smelled like old water and urine.

I love it!

The cabin is a very sweet place. It has everything you need to be very comfortable and it is very convenient because it is very close to the beach. The jacuzzi is always a plus, but at night you can appreciate a sky full of stars! Vacasa's service was excellent, on time and very clear. Overall my experience in the cabin was excellent. Highly recommendable place.

Not a good experience at all. Won’t be back.

From the door, not working for 2 hours lock is broke somebody supposed to be here in the morning to fix that so we can at least leave the place Trashy bed with a big hole in the center. My partner is handicap and there are steps in here that we didn't even know about. Hot tub was 91 when we got here at 230pm and it is 650pm now and it's barely at 94°. We wanted to stay at a place to use the hot tub and we can't even use it tonight cause it's not even as warm as bathtub water. There's a little bitty step stool that we are supposed to step on to get in the hot tub. Dangerous. Every cupboard in the kitchen has dishes in it so our food we brought has to sit on the floor. No cupboard space at all in the bathroom. Every drawer in the bedroom is filled with blankets, so we have nowhere to put our clothes. Toilet, plugged and no plunger It seems to be clean, although the windows need to be done in the front. The barbecue works great. 7:18am Friday and the hot tub is still at 93° and doesn’t shut off. 4:55 Friday the 27th. Hot tub is at 87°. Door lock still not fixed. The door can be pushed open. We just planned on having a great vacation for four days and three nights and we come into this. It's pretty sad. We would've rented a bigger better place. If we would've known what we were walking into I don't even know how we're going to sleep in the bed for the next three nights. So we are asking for full compensation for our stay of the three nights. What we see here in person isn't what we seen in the pictures by far False advertisement isn't cool Our backs are killing us after one night in this bed and we didn’t sleep hardly at all. They never refunded us any of the money

No ocean view, crowded neighbors

This was advertised as an Ocean View. It’s not. The only place you can see a distant ocean view is between the shrubs in the driveway. This is a manufactured home that has been encased in a deck with a small entry area. The home are VERY close together. When we were there the neighbor’s home above us was occupied and they were partying on the deck. We literally went to look if they were somehow on our deck. There’s another house below you that you’re overlooking. We had to have the shades pulled for any kind of privacy. The bed was comfortable, kitchen was small and the oven pilot light wouldn’t light the gas oven, but it was adequate. I liked that they had provided ground coffee and cream in the fridge. It’s close to several nice beaches, but not within walking distance. When we arrived, the link to directions provided in our email from Vacasa wouldn’t open and the container at the entrance to the property that was also suppose to provide directions on paper was empty, so we spent 20 minutes wandering around trying to find the place. Vacasa customer service wasn’t able to help. Overall, too expensive for a non-ocean view property, and too crowded for my taste. It was clean and the bed was good, so depending on your needs, it might be okay.

Great little studio

I chose this for my sister and I to get away.We enjoy puzzles and that’s tough in a hotel.The hot tub was private, covered, and hot enough. There is a full size fridge. Drip coffee/french press option. Also a tea pot and kettle. Nice kitchen table for puzzles. Games also available. One downside was the hot water in the shower ran out quickly but the pressure was great. Probably bring your own pillows too.

Shoulder season get away

I stayed at this VRBO with my pup, Boomer for three nights while we explored the Oregon coast. I found everything to be exactly as advertised and the space was perfect for my needs. The hot tub was a huge bonus.

Quick trip

This cabin was clean and well kept. Very small but perfect for 1-2 guests. The cabins are stacked on top of each other pretty tightly, but surprisingly quite and private deck with hot tub was so nice! Unfortunately you can't hear the ocean very well over the freeway noise. Bed was very uncomfortable, but okay for a short trip. Overall great experience at this cabin.

Cute Stay

Really enjoyed this stay a OV 10. Came with a few snafu's. Address to property that was sent to us was incorrect. It was night when we arrived to the property and I had to call Vacasa directly so they could guide me to the location and the address they provided to me was also incorrect. There was also a boil water advisory we were not aware of so we had to purchase extra water for washing vegetables, brushing teeth, etc. We also needed to utilize the pullout couch & found that the bedding to cover the was moldy/musty smelling. Outside of these snafu's we really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely book again as the location & overall residence was everything we needed.
