Surrounded by woodland in Canadice, this five-bedroom Finger Lakes log cabin combines rustic architecture with modern amenities, generous gathering spaces, and year-round recreation. The property features a seasonal heated pool, private hot tub, game room, fire pit, and multiple decks overlooking the surrounding forest.

The spacious kitchen is designed for group meals, with warm wood cabinetry, stainless-steel appliances, a double oven, and ample preparation space. Expansive windows bring natural light and wooded views into the kitchen, dining room, and living areas.

Outside, spend summer days beside the pool, unwind in the hot tub, prepare dinner on the grill, or gather around the fire pit beneath the stars. The private setting also offers convenient access to hiking, kayaking, and other Finger Lakes activities.

Guest access:

Guests may use the entire home and outdoor areas except for locked spaces. Please remain within the property boundaries.

Pet policy:

Up to two dogs are permitted with a pet fee. Owners must immediately collect and properly dispose of all pet waste. Failure to clean up after a dog may result in a $100 additional fee.

Complimentary starter supplies include one towel and pillow per guest, bed linens, K-cups, creamer, sugar, salt, pepper, cooking spray, garbage bags, dishwasher and laundry pods, a sponge, dish soap, and hand soap.

A personal vehicle is recommended because shops and services are not nearby. The driveway has a fairly steep incline and may be difficult for some vehicles to navigate when snow or ice is present.

This property was exactly as advertised, and the entire family had a great time! It was so roomy, even for three family's, and it was extremely well appointed, with so many appliances, glasses and dishes available, a big grill and a great big dining room table. The pool and hot tub were awesome! The kids couldn't get over the game room! We loved it! Thank you!

Family Vacation

We had a wonderful family vacation at this beautiful home (cabin retreat) at the Finger Lakes. All six adults, two grandchildren and two dogs had a great time! The check-in process was very easy. The home was very clean. The weather was a little cool so it was nice having the game room to enjoy for the couple days we didn’t use the pool. This was our first time traveling to the Finger Lakes; it’s such a beautiful area. Anyone staying at this cabin retreat would not be disappointed!

Perfect little getaway place just outside the city of Rochester when you’re looking to change it up for a weekend away with the whole family! Definitely can get more use out of the space in Summer, but a great cozy cabin in the winter! Great hosts - great communication.

We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was exactly as described. The only downside was the 10am checkout, which felt a bit early for a group of 10 and made the morning a little rushed. That said, we knew this ahead of time when booking, so it wasn’t a surprise. If anything, a slightly later checkout would be my only suggestion.

Definitely a place to visit if you want to be more in the wilderness one thing I thought we might have was a Lakeview but it’s across the street and tough to see through any trees. You have to walk down the road a bit and then it’s viewable. Love the area but be ready to drive to places like the grocery store and ect. The House worked well for 11 of us. The only thing I would change would be quite a few of the light switches or fixtures didn’t work through out the property. We’d like to have lighting like outside and for the size house, it needs a few more chairs around the dining room table as we had to eat in shifts instead of together, which is a big part of our family vacation. Definitely enjoyed the property and would consider staying again.

This property is lovely and all amenities are as listed. The owner was very attentive to our texts, and very helpful. This is a good home for multiple families or a large group. Plenty of space and things to keep everyone occupied even in inclement weather. Our sons particularly enjoyed the game room, and us older adults certainly enjoyed reminiscing the older games on the emulators.

Hot tub and pool were dirty. Dog hair blowing around the living room. Host stopped responding until we got VBRO involved then suddenly the problem was solved in 90 minutes. One of the 2 video games didn’t work and the dryer was broken.

We’re sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations, and we appreciate the opportunity to provide some additional context regarding the concerns you experienced. Upon your arrival, the area experienced a significant storm that resulted in a power outage. While the home does have a whole-house generator, the pool and hot tub systems are on separate breakers and are not powered through the generator. Because of this, we were unable to properly clean and service the pool and hot tub until power was fully restored. Once power returned, we addressed the issue as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, one of the video game systems was damaged due to the power outage. This was an unexpected result of the storm and something that was outside of our control, but we worked to resolve the issues as quickly as we could. We also wish we had been given the opportunity to address the cleanliness concerns immediately. Our goal is always to respond and assist our guests whenever something is brought to our attention. We regret that you felt communication was lacking, as we would have been happy to help troubleshoot and resolve concerns during your stay. It is unfortunate that there was a lack of understanding regarding circumstances caused by an unexpected storm and power outage, as these situations are beyond our control. We did our best to correct the issues in a timely manner and ensure you could enjoy the property as intended. We appreciate your feedback and will continue working to provide the best possible experience for our guests.

Excellent Vacation Home

We had such a great time at this home. It was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed. We only left the house because we had a rainy day, so we took a trip to the Corning Museum of Glass which was amazing. I would highly recommend this home.

Family stay for graveside service in Wayland, NY

The house is stunning! It was a perfect setting for family to come from 3 different states to celebrate the life of my father-in-law. We appreciated the en suite layout for two of the Kings, as we had 2 grandchildren under a year old traveling with their parents. The 5th bedroom worked well for two cousins & our unmarried son. We wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the gameroom, although my one son loved the hot tub! We would highly recommend staying here.

The perfect cabin in the woods

We absolutely fell in love with this country cabin. Our family is large, and there was more than enough space for everyone to spread out and feel comfortable. The gourmet kitchen was a dream and made preparing meals together so easy and enjoyable. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the coffee bar was such a thoughtful touch—perfect for starting our mornings. Everything throughout the cabin was spotless, which made the whole stay feel even more relaxing. We loved being surrounded by nature and having a hiking trail literally right outside the back door. Ending each night under the stars in the hot tub was absolutely magical. We spent hours bonding in the game room, and the front yard had plenty of space for us to throw the baseball around. Everything about this stay was perfect for our family, and we’re already talking about coming back. Highly recommend!

Nice property

The property was very nice and was exactly as pictured on the listing. The lower bedroom was very cold and there weren’t enough chairs in the dining room to seat 11 people. Suggest adding some folding chairs so everyone can eat meals together. The pool and hot tub were very nice and well used by our family.

Great vacation with friends

The home was situated on top of a mountain. We had gorgeous views of the forest and sunsets. We had plenty of space for our group of 9 to spread out. The kitchen was well equipped. We used the pool and game room every day. The host was fantastic with speedy responses to any messages that were sent. I would recommend this property to anyone and would return in the future!

Beautiful spot for a family vacation!

Such a peaceful, quiet location close to Canadice Lake, the property is beautiful and the cabin is spectacular ~ if I could give more than 5 stars, I definitely would!! We were most impressed with how clean every room is + a great layout for a family (lots of closet space!), comfortable beds/pillows, clean showers/tub/towels, well stocked the kitchen is with all needed accessories/dishes/utensils/small appliances etc (enjoyed the Keurig + provided pods too!)... and the best part, the bonus of a game room (our grandkids LOVED the arcade + ping pong table!) + pool + hot tub made for the perfect vacation spot for our family! We will definitely look forward to returning every summer! AND the host was very responsive & checked in multiple times during our stay to see if we needed anything ~ again 5 stars isn't enough, thank you JC for allowing our family to create so many wonderful memories together on our trip this summer!

It was fine

The house is very nice and clean. Communication needs improvement. Had concerns for a gentleman walking around the property when we were checking in and owners brushed it off like it was no big deal. Property is back a far driveway so it was unsettling to us. No many lights around the hot tub which also deterred us from using it at night since we had that guy walking around, none of us felt comfortable being out at night. Owners didn't really respond when I told them the fire alarms would go off randomly and it happened overnight as well. The place is stunning overall.

Great time

The house was perfect for ten of us. Parent, kids and spouses, and three grand kids. Clean and an good layout. The setting is perfect if you like the quiet outdoors. There were breweries within a 30 minutes for the adult children. A great golf course in Naples. Canadice Lake is close by for the kayaks. A heated pool for all. the weather mostly cooperated. When it didn't there was a game room. The lights were a bit quirky. There is a GFI in the first floor bathroom that needs to be reset to get some of the lights to work. The AC for the upper bedrooms did not work on the last day but the night was cool enough that it wasn't necessary. I would go back again

mostly good some could be better

We all had a very nice time. We enjoyed the beautiful and serene location. The house was spacious with a great pool and hot tub (though some of the jets in the tub didn't work). The roads felt safe for riding bikes and taking walks. Honeoye Lake was close for more restaurants and shops. Most things at the house were well provided but it would have been nice to have more kitchen towels and cloths and been told to bring plastic cups for poolside drinks. One important thing that needs to be addressed is some tripping hazards both inside and out. It could probably be remedied with little night lights and ground level. Though there was one small accident because of it, it didn't stop us from having a good time. We would go back.

Wonderful stay at Canadice lake

We had a great family vacation here! When we arrived we first noticed the beautiful views from both outside and inside. What a perfect setting! We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the house. We enjoyed the large comfortable couch and arm chairs in the family room. The throw pillows and blankets were so nice and cozy. We were so pleased that we could access so many streaming services on the t.v., too. We all appreciated the high-quality beds and pillows, too. The kitchen is so nice! The fridge/freezer and pantry have ample room for food for our large family for a week. We really appreciated that the hosts provided different types of coffee and tea. The bathrooms were clean and the towels were nice. We were very glad to have a washer and dryer as well. We used the pool and hot tub every day. They are both so clean and well maintained! The game room is great, too. The arcade games were a hit all around. We also really enjoyed the peaceful wooden swing at the top of the hill. Our family enjoyed this house and would recommend it to others!

We enjoyed our stay for 6 nights and the amenities the proper had to offer. (Pool, hot tub, fire pit, game room) Not all of the video games were functional but the host did try to get it fixed when we reported the issue, unfortunately it couldn't be resolved. Check in/check out was very easy. All the rooms were very clean upon our arrival. The kitchen has very nice appliances. We tried to save on A/C as we had many cool nights during our stay but many of the windows didn't have screens or they were in need of repaired. The showers are nice & hot water was great. Beautiful, peaceful remote property. It is on a hill but my grandkids had fun rolling down it and got tired out having to walk back up We were able to walk to the kayak rental & the boat launch areas. We would definitely choose this spacious property again. Lots of great memories made! Thank you for hosting & also allowing our 4 legged friends.

This secluded Finger Lakes log cabin offers a rare combination of privacy, character, and year-round amenities. Guests can spend summer days beside the seasonal heated pool, relax in the private hot tub, gather around the fire pit, or enjoy foosball, ping-pong, and arcade games indoors.

The spacious kitchen pairs rustic details with stainless-steel appliances, a double oven, and a central island. Woodland views, private decks, a stone-hearth electric fireplace, five comfortable bedrooms, and several gathering areas make the home well suited for families and groups.

Pet policy:

Up to two dogs are permitted with a pet fee. Owners must immediately collect and properly dispose of all pet waste. Failure to clean up after a dog may result in a $100 additional fee.

Maintenance information:

Emergency maintenance is available 24/7 for urgent concerns such as flooding, leaks, fires, or sewage backups.

Non-emergency maintenance is available daily from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Requests received after 6:00 PM will generally be addressed the following day.

Routine property services:

* Lawn care may occur during your stay. Please remove personal belongings and lawn games from the yard.
* The hot tub is cleaned and serviced weekly, which may occur during your stay. Advance notice will be provided. Please wait 30 minutes after servicing before using the hot tub.
* Snow-removal crews work to keep the driveway accessible. Short delays may occur during heavy snowfall because the service team maintains multiple properties.
