We absolutely take responsibility for the fact that the home was not cleaned prior to your arrival. There was a scheduling error with our cleaning team, and we sincerely apologize for that mistake. We understand how frustrating it was to arrive after traveling and find the home in that condition. In light of this situation, we’ve put in place additional reminders with our team members for each reservation. We were notified of the situation when you checked in just after 8pm. We immediately contacted our cleaner, who came out and had the home fully cleaned and ready for your group by approximately 10pm. When we discussed the options with you over the phone, your group preferred to stay at a hotel for the night, and we accommodated exactly what you requested. We found a hotel with last-minute availability and arranged and paid for four separate hotel rooms for your group. We understand that staying in a hotel was not what you had originally planned for your reunion, but we accommodated what your group requested and did everything we could to make that option as easy as possible for your group. In addition to covering the four hotel rooms, we also provided a discount on your overall stay as an additional gesture for the inconvenience. Of course, everyone can leave whatever review they feel is appropriate. However, given how quickly we addressed the issue, the fact that the home was ready within approximately two hours, and that we arranged and paid for four hotel rooms at your request in addition to discounting your stay, we do feel that we your response fairly reflects how this situation was handled or the efforts we made to accommodate your group. We are glad to hear that once you returned to the property, you enjoyed the beautiful view and spaciousness of the home. We’re sorry that your arrival did not go as planned, but we stand behind the effort we made to rectify the situation and accommodate your group.
