Overview

The Cocoon is an adults-only forest retreat designed to help you slow down. Bordering 27,000 acres of protected state forest, it's quiet, private, and thoughtfully curated. Guests often describe their stay as magical, cozy, and unforgettable—a reflection of the intentional design, thoughtful details, and immersive forest setting.

The Space

Inside you'll find a queen bed tucked on a loft beneath a skylight, inviting you to fall asleep beneath the stars. Below, a well-equipped kitchenette and cozy sitting area are centered around a dramatic panoramic window overlooking the forest. Step outside onto your private deck, where you'll find outdoor seating, a propane grill, and your own private outdoor soaking tub surrounded by nature.

Wake to the forest, soak beneath the trees, and fall asleep beneath the stars. From your private outdoor soaking tub and fire pit to the lofted bed beneath the skylight, every detail is designed to help you slow down and reconnect with nature.

Private Bathroom

Your private bathroom is located just a short walk from the dome in our nearby bathhouse and is never shared with other guests. Thoughtfully designed as its own cozy retreat, the magic and attention to detail continue beyond the dome itself.

Thoughtful Extras

All linens and towels are provided, along with coffee, tea, creamer, spices, oils, basic condiments, plus shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.

Disconnect to Reconnect

Wi-Fi is available, though cell service is limited. Guests are encouraged to unplug and lean into the stillness of the forest. Inside the dome, you'll find a curated collection of screen-free comforts, including a record player with a small vinyl collection, games, puzzles, coloring books, musical instruments, yoga mats, and other thoughtful touches designed to help you rest, create, and simply be.

The Property

There is a second dome on the property, thoughtfully positioned to preserve privacy.
