If your family is needing a place to stay in Philadelphia, this is the place!! From the cozy cabin with every essential you need, to the wrap around porch with outdoor games and the beautiful view of the lake for our family to enjoy a steak dinner on the porch, it was perfect! Our kids loved fishing with their papa each morning. Great place. Our family plans to stay here again in the future…a very peaceful and beautiful piece of property!

Our host is always gracious and amazing. The amenities are wonderful and the cabin is so nice and quiet we only stay here when we come to Mississippi for the holidays or any other time.

The cabin was perfect for our visit with my family. The views are beautiful, and I highly suggest having your morning coffee overlooking the water from the back porch! The hosts clearly paid attention to detail when they prepared for guests. Check in and check out was quick and easy. I’ll definitely stay here again in the future!

If you’re ever within 50 miles of this place and need somewhere to stay, stay here! Ben was so accommodating and the place was so comfortable! Can’t recommend it enough!

We had a great stay at the lake house. The fish were biting and the house was comfortable and had everything we needed. We were visiting the area playing in a children’s baseball state tournament. We won!! Great memories of our stay in this beautiful cabin.

Silence is golden

The perfect stay…to shut off the world and regroup. Philadelphia Mississippi doesn’t have a lot of attraction to keep you tied to the world which makes it that much better. The tranquility, peace, and quietness is just so relaxing. The only negativity… is you have to leave.

Peaceful Perfection. We came for a wedding in Philadelphia and found a little slice of Heaven. The house was absolutely beautiful and had everything you could possibly need for a stay. If you need it I promise this house will have it. The decor was stunning and we fell in love with the wrap around porch and oh my goodness THE VIEWS from every direction! My favorite spot was the bed swing every morning drinking my tea and watching the sunrise. I cannot say enough about how lovely, kind and helpful the hosts were and we never even met them in person. There is no question this is one of the best VRBO's we have ever had the pleasure to stay at.

We had a wonderful time. We were celebrating our family reunion. There was something for everyone to do. My mother is 91 and she enjoyed sitting on the porch. My brothers and sisters enjoyed the fishing. The kids enjoyed being able to play all types of games from relay, dodge ball, bocce etc. I would recommend this venue for family gatherings.Greer/Tureaud Familes

Above and Beyond

This property was found and initially selected because it was the only appropriate accommodation available for a short notice trip with our whole family (including 3 kids 3 and under), but it was such a treat to stay here and the whole family loved the whole experience! The hosts went out of their way to provide not only the essentials but special little touches specific to our family like toddler appropriate games and puzzles and making sure we knew that there was a high chair and pack and play onsite to help save space in our preparation. While this trip was unexpected, this is an area we are likely to visit again and will definitely plan to stay here again when we do!

We had a wonderful get away to the quiet of the country with kid and grandkids. We loved being outside playing ball, catching a tonOf fish and playing games. The owners were so hospitable and had lots of special touches in the cabin. We can’t wait to return!
