Your senses are awakened by the smell of salty air and the greetings of tropical birds who’s morning songs echo through Tar Bay. Ceiling fans throughout the home help maintain the tropical vibe and they can be used alongside central air conditioning throughout the entire home for those who like a crisp, cool, indoor temperature. A massive center island will bring you and your guests together in a world-class, fully stocked kitchen that boasts stainless steel appliances, white quartz countertops, a coffee and beverage bar, and two fridges that you or your chef can fill with delicious tropical fruit and other local produce. There’s plenty of variety that can be explored and enjoyed in Bahamian cuisine, and a quick trip to the local markets in George Town will deliver all of the food inspiration you could dream of. A quaint village where you can pick up souvenirs and chat with locals, George Town is where you’ll find liquor stores, souvenir shops, and grocery stores. Just think of what you can make with some fresh mangoes, bananas, avocados, guinep, and oranges! You can take them right back to the beach to enjoy or blend them into a quenching cocktail that can be sipped in your private saltwater pool.
The only thing as impressive as the kitchen inside, is the one outside! A large Napoleon grill and all of its accessories are perfect for outdoor cooking. Whether its you, one of your guests, or a hired chef, everything served right off the grill can be enjoyed right outside on a 2,000 square foot deck that has ample seating and stunning ocean views. A place to sit and enjoy a meal is not something you’ll struggle to find at 2Hoty— you can enjoy a meal at the 8-person indoor dining table, soak in the sun with outdoor patio dining suite, or find some shade under the dining suite’s awning. There’s also plenty of space to lounge and enjoy the sun around the saltwater pool, where you can nap on a sunbed, hammock, or tanning ledge, replenishing your body with some much-needed vitamin D.
It might be hard to leave the property, but the beach is a few steps away and 2Hoty has everything you’ll need to make the most of your time in the water. Paddle away in one of the two Kayaks or two paddleboards, explore a world of tropical ocean life in the provided snorkeling gear, and do all of this safely and comfortably by using the available lifejackets, towels, chairs, and sun umbrellas. Tar Bay offers miles of pristine white sand beaches, and you might find yourself walking along the water’s ledge enjoying what feels like a private beach experience. When it’s time to head back to your dream home after a day in the sand, be sure to rinse off in the private outdoor shower before heading inside. When the sun sets, the house is cozy, elegant, even romantic. You may want to enjoy a quiet movie night on a big cozy sectional in the living room, and you’ll love making your selection on a 75-inch 4K smart television. If you’re avoiding screen time, you’ll find card games and board games that we invite you to enjoy. If you’re not quite ready to say goodnight to the outdoors, enjoy an evening of drinks and story telling with your guests under the starry Bahamian skies right on your property’s ample outdoor space. Make note of the golden yacht lights shimmering across the night’s water as their occupants prepare for a luxurious evening in, not much different from the one you’re sure to be enjoying. Who knows, it may inspire you to rent your own boat, and adventure with a private captain through the Exuma Cays where you can encounter unique wildlife.
Swim with the pigs, take pictures of the iguana’s at Allen’s Cay, and meet the fish that once welcomed James Bond into the Thunderball Grotto! If that’s not enough, you can hunt for sand dollars on Coco Plum Beach, swim with the nurse sharks at Compass Cay, or hop on a water taxi from the Government dock and make your way over to the Chat N Chill bar for a cold beer on an Island among locals and other tourists.
When you’ve been away from it for a day, returning to your luxury property on Silver Beach Estates (lot 33) in Tar Bay will take your breath away each and every time. Enjoy endless warm water showers delivered by three tankless water heaters and stay hydrated on any floor with safe to drink cold water coolers. If you don’t like to overpack, you can rely on the full-size washer and dryer to keep your clothes clean throughout your stay.
Soak in every last moment at 2Hoty, because the airport is only 10 short minutes away from the property, welcoming direct flights from Canada, US, and the UK. Private plane charters can also be arranged, and an information book on how to make the most of your stay will be available to you upon arrival.
We welcome a maximum of 10 adult guests, or 8 adult guests with two children over 8 years of age.
