Stay with us! The house is located near Chesapeake Beach, a beautiful park and 7 minute drive to the Little Creek Naval Bases. Lounge about your private second floor suite and balcony overlooking the water or roast marshmallows on the fire pit in our backyard. When you are ready, visit the beach! Enjoy a workout with some weights or by rowing. A mini fridge, Keurig and hot water are in the room.

THERMOSTAT:

This home is solar powered but ask that you still do your part to conserve energy when possible.

GENERAL:
-Make yourself at home!
-Use the exhaust fan when showering to reduce moisture
-No metal utensils in non-stick pans
-Wash the sand off with the hose before coming into the house after the beach (Hose under the steps)

LOCATIONS OF COMMON ITEMS:

Trash bags are kept underneath the sink (you’ll find other basic cleaning supplies like sponges, bleach cleaner, laundry supplies and dish soap there as well). I do a good job of staying on top of the supply, but if anything is running low and you need a restock, just shoot me a text.

Extra towels and linens are located in the closet along with a small step stool, luggage rack, iron and small ironing board.

There is a pack-n-play travel crib in the closet if needed along with sheets and mattress protectors for your little one. If used please leave it out at checkout so we can sanitize it after your use.

SECURITY:

The doors automatically lock within a few minutes. Please ensure it’s fully shut.

Cameras are used outdoors only.

EXTENDED STAYS:

For those of you having longer stays, trash is picked up Wednesday morning and ask that you bring the green can Tuesday night. A team member will move the can to and from the curb.

You may see a team member stop over to cut the lawn during normal business hours.

DEPARTURE:

Please remember checkout time is 10:00 am to ensure we have time to prepare for our next guest.

A late checkout must be pre-arranged with Adam: Late checkouts can be accommodated on an individual basis and have a flat rate of $69. The allowance is for up to two hours and availability will exclusively depend on existing bookings. There will be $50 charge for every 30 minutes past checkout time if not pre-approved by the host.

Please if time permits:
-Take the trash out to the big green can on your departure
-Load and run the dishwasher
-Ensure all windows and door are fully shut
-AC is set for 74F or heat to 64F depending on the season
