The space
Step out from your private entrance and you'll be greeted by the quiet streets one of Edmonton's most desirable neighborhoods, Jasper Park!

What our guests love about our listing:

What some of our guests do not love as much about our listing:
- This property is an individual unit in a multi-family triplex so while no space is shared as it has it's own completely separate entrance, there is slight potential for noise from the other adjacent units in the complex, however we have installed sound barriers between the floors and door to ensure the best sleeps possible for each and every guest!
- This home does have another suite that is also a short term rental AND there is a possibility that the other suite guests may have pets.

This guest suite comfortably sleeps 6 with one King size bed, one Queen size bed and a comfortable queen pull out/fold down couch in the living room! All beds complete with fresh sheets changed after every single guest. Our suite also a full sized washroom that is sparkling clean with shower/ tub combination, sink and toilet so everyone can get ready for their day quickly!

Complimentary Wi-Fi, Netflix, tea and coffee. Your kitchen comes fully loaded with brand new appliances such as a microwave, fridge, electric stove and dishwasher, other small appliances and wine glasses, mugs, dishes and cutlery.

Once you stay with us, you'll feel like you're simply staying at a home you own!

You have full and total access of our suite during your stay. Feel free to stream Netflix as much as you like, whip up anything you can dream of in our fully stocked chef's kitchen, or jump in your car/take an Uber to Mayfield Common - one of the most vibrant shopping districts in all of Edmonton!


Neighborhood
Sherwood is a charming and peaceful neighborhood located in the northwest of Edmonton, Alberta. The area is known for its spacious and well-maintained homes, tree-lined streets, and friendly community. The neighborhood is conveniently located near major shopping centers, including Mayfair Common shopping district and West Edmonton Mall, both of which are within a short drive or bus ride away. These shopping centers offer a wide variety of shops, restaurants, and entertainment options. There are also supermarkets and a variety of restaurants and cafes in the area. In addition to that, there are also several parks and green spaces in the area, making it a great destination for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. Sherwood is also located close to downtown Edmonton, which is home to a variety of cultural attractions, restaurants and shopping options, and Rogers Place, the home of Edmonton Oilers and venue for concerts and events.

Overall, Sherwood is a great place to stay for those looking for a quiet and comfortable home base while exploring all that Edmonton has to offer, including the shopping and entertainment options at Mayfair Common, West Edmonton Mall, downtown and the Edmonton Oilers games or concerts at Rogers Place.


Getting around
Sherwood is a well-connected neighborhood in Edmonton, making it easy to get around and explore the city. The neighborhood is served by several major bus routes, with frequent service to downtown Edmonton and other parts of the city.

Additionally, there is easy access to major roads such as 137 Avenue and 156 Street, making it convenient to travel by car. The closest LRT (Light Rail Transit) station is located at the nearby neighborhood of Belvedere. From there, you can quickly and easily access all parts of the city.

For those who prefer to bike, there are also several bike lanes and paths in the area, making it a great option for getting around.

At the property we offer ample free street parking so finding a space for your vehicle will be a breeze.

Our homes are fully stocked with the essentials you’ll need for a comfortable stay. Supplies are set up to last approximately 7 days. For extended stays beyond this, guests will need to purchase and maintain any additional items they require.

- For Winter Weather: During the winter season, snow is removed within 24 hours "after" the snowfall has ended.

Rates for Pet Fees per Pet:
Nightly Rate: $30/night per pet
Weekly Rate: $150/week per pet
Monthly Rate: $300/month per pet
*Please note the pet fee charges are not included in our advertised pricing and are charged separately after the booking is confirmed. This must be arranged and paid prior to arrival. Please inform us when you book if you are bringing pets as it needs approval first by the property owner.

PET RULES
*Pets are not allowed on the beds under any circumstances
*Please clean up after your pet and keep them off the furniture where possible. A $75 clean up fee may be applied if pet droppings are left in the yard or in the property.
*Pets must be kept on a leash at all times when in the backyard. This area is a shared space, and we appreciate your cooperation in maintaining a respectful environment for everyone.

To ensure a safe, seamless, and high-quality experience, we kindly require all guests to complete the following quick steps after confirming their reservation:

1. Sign our short-term rental agreement
This is a standard document that outlines the terms of your stay, our house rules, and general policies. It protects both parties and helps us maintain the quality of our homes and guest experiences. The rental agreement will be sent automatically after your reservation is confirmed and can be signed digitally in just a few clicks.

2. Complete ID verification
All guests are required to verify their identity through our secure platform. This one-time step helps us ensure the safety of our community and property, and only takes a few minutes.

3. Choose your damage protection option
You’ll have two options to finalize your booking:
– Pay a $50 CAD non-refundable damage waiver, which provides up to $700 CAD in coverage for accidental damage during your stay.
OR
– Choose a refundable $700 CAD security deposit, which is a pre-authorized hold on your credit card taken 2 days before check-in and released automatically 5 days after check-out, provided there is no damage or violation of house rules.
Please note: A 2% processing fee is retained by our payment processor, so the refunded amount will be $686 CAD. However, if you cancel your reservation before the deposit is processed, you will not be charged this fee.

Completion of these steps is required to finalize your booking prior to receiving check in instructions and entry codes.

We have exterior cameras on both the front and back of the house.
There is keyless entry to the home which a code will be provided to you after you book with us.

Please remember that you're staying in our home, not a hotel. Please treat the place with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action ASAP, but there is no one living on site 24/7.

Please note that profiles with a lower review rating than 4 stars will not be allowed to book our property on an instant book basis and if for whatever reason the reservation confirms through the system, the reservation may be cancelled. For guests with new profiles without reviews, these requests will be reviewed manually and will be subject to screening and questioning before a reservation may be confirmed.

Wonderful property- perfect for family

Stayed 2 nights at this lovely place. The unit was clean, quiet and exactly as advertised. The kitchen area and living room are very nice and have everything you need for your stay. The bedrooms are well decorated and have large closets and very comfortable beds. Hosts were easy to reach and quick to answer any questions we had. The location was great - only minutes from West Edmonton Mall in a quiet and safe neighborhood. Would definitely stay at this home again.

Everything you need

Stayed here when in Edmonton for a family wedding. New to VRBO but will certainly do it again after this experience. Lots of room, accommodated our fur family and was good access to main roads anywhere you need to go. Place was clean, with easy check in and out. Would stay here again.

This suite is not good for long term stays. The sinks did not plug, the tub drained slowly, the cutlery drawer popped out regularly, the burners didn't work well on the stove, the oven fan rattled and was extremely loud, plug ins did not always hold plugs and the WiFi was inconsistent. You couldn't be on your phone without it impacting your tv or computer use. The cooking pots, pans etc were of very poor quality need replacing for tenants that want/need to cook. Some of the lamps did not work. The bed was comfortable, the hot water and shower pressure were great. The managers were prompt in responding when the coffee maker stopped working. It was a quiet place and noise levels were good. The sidewalks were always shoveled which was appreciated.
