We do make all guests aware prior to arrival that we cannot guarantee the propane tank will be full and direct guests to the nearest exchange station if it needs to be filled. We truly appreciate hearing from experienced travelers like yourselves, and we’re glad you recognized the quality and potential of the home. We would like to clarify that our welcome letter, and pre-arrival messages all state that we provide a starter pack of amenities only and that perishables are not supplied. This is not about the price point, but rather guest safety. Items such as salt, pepper, and other opened perishables can unfortunately be tampered with, and for that reason we do not leave them in the home. We make every effort to communicate this clearly prior to arrival so guests know what to expect and can plan accordingly. Regarding the mattresses, we understand bedding comfort is very subjective, as some guests prefer firmer mattresses while others prefer softer ones. We have not previously received complaints regarding the beds, and the owner stays at the property frequently as well. That said, we do appreciate your perspective and will certainly keep your comments in mind as we continue improving the guest experience. Thank you again for your feedback and for staying with us.
