The apartment was exactly how described. It was clean and communication with the host was good. The area is beautiful. A car is needed to enjoy it fully as many things are a drive. Portage Lake is just across the street. The casino is about a 10–15-minute drive. Lake Michigan is also about a 10-minute drive. A few things that I would suggest are 1) that the lights outside of each entry door can be shut off at night. Bugs surround the door and swarm in when the door is opened at night, presenting with dead bugs on everything in the morning. It would be nice to have additional bowls with lids in the kitchen, since we had nothing to put leftovers in. The unit had everything necessary for a nice stay. Paper towels,TP, trash bags, spices, coffee, ice, dish soap, Kleenex, body wash, shampoo and conditioner, towels, linens, extra pillows and blankets. It was nice not to have to haul all of the extras with us as we had come a long way. I must say that the only big downfall for us was the noise through the walls and ceiling. They are "paper" thin. The first night, we had the individuals staying in the other room come in at 12 a.m. and stay awake until 2:50 a.m. Then they woke up again and were very noisy at 5:00 a.m. Another day, a small child was crying early in the morning, and it sounded like it was in our bedroom. However, I do realize that children cry. It would be nice if something could be done to sound-proof the units. There are sound machines which I used, which helped a bit
