Stay was wonderful! House was very clean and had everything you needed! Host had thought of everything. Very quiet and peaceful . Would highly recommend for anyone staying in that area!

We have stayed in many rentals but, this house had everything you could ever want. Very clean, well equipped kitchen, plenty of seating inside and outside, great mattress’s, and all the little items that we did not have to buy to make our stay complete. Donnie and Rhonda know how to make it feel like home. Can’t wait to come back next year.

Loved staying in this immaculate cabin with anything and everything you could ever think of needing. Donnie checked in a few times to be sure we had all we needed and to be sure we were enjoying ourselves. The pups loved playing on the front deck while we enjoyed the peaceful setting. The garage was just as immaculate as the inside of the house with all kinds of fun things to do to entertain yourself and even workout equipment if you feel motivated enough to do so on vacation Book the house, you won’t be disappointed!

It's a beautiful cabin with so many amenities—Donnie and Ronda truly thought of everything! The cabin is cozy, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing stay. The location is also fantastic. It's close to downtown Franklin, as well as many beautiful waterfalls and hiking trails, making it a great home base for exploring the area. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in a great location.

Love the cabin!! Rest assured that if You forgot to pack something, it's probably there. There are great views from the porch. The bed is soooo comfortable!! Definitely will be back

This was the perfect get away for our extended family. Beautiful home and views, large bedrooms, amazing secure deck (great for kids and dogs), close to necessary amenities, mountains and of course waterfalls. We had no choice but to take it all in and finish the day relaxing in front of the fireplace. Highly recommend.

Hickory Hollow was everyrhing we had hoped for - beautiful views, comfortable cabin, quiet neighnorhood, completely stocked kitchen and a huge wonderful porch! This is truly the best place we have ever stayed in Western NC and we visit every year. The owners' attention to detail is obvious and we had great communication. Highly recommend!!

We loved staying at this rental. The views were great, even in May with the leaves on the trees. The deck was the best feature. Having it enclosed with wire between the railings and gate at the steps allowed us to let our dogs to join us out there with worrying about them. 2 Adirondack chairs and a high-top dining table with chairs have been added (not shown in photos) so there are plenty of seating options.The inside was warm, inviting and as described. Too many added touches to mention here. If we visit the area again, this will be our first choice to stay.

Home away from home

This was a great place for a family vacation! The cabin has all of the items you need and the baby items were a big plus! Saved us from packing so much! The porch has an amazing view and is perfect for enjoying the evening and mountain air!

We absolutely loved our stay at Hickory Hollow! Everything about the check in process was great. The hosts were very easy to contact, and even reached out to us by text. The cabin was beautiful and clean, and we really enjoyed all the Big Foot decor and the themed decor rooms! The highlights of our trip were the spacious garage for our Miata convertible; which we brought on this trip for the MATG event, 2 full bathrooms, and the fully equipped kitchen and bar. The highlight of the cabin is definitely the porch with beautiful mountain views and outdoor furniture. We thoroughly enjoyed morning coffee with all the nature sounds, dinner on the grill with the views, and late night UNO & Yahtzee with our wine & bourbon. The cabin is also very close to Highlands, our favorite of ours to visit for the great restaurants and bars. The cabin was also so many great hiking trails! We hiked Bartram Trail on our second day, and it was only a 11 min drive from the cabin. This stay was extra special for us because we got engaged on our hike! This was the perfect place to spend our first weekend as a newly engaged couple, and we cannot wait to return next August; and hopefully for many years to come.

Wonderful

We had a great vacation, thanks to the host and hostess meeting all of our expectations. The cabin is well stocked and comfortable. Only minutes away from downtown Franklin for the shops and restaurants. Great mountain views and night sky if you are a star gazer. We will see you next year! Sharon & Ed

Fantastic Stay at Hickory Hollow

Just returned from 3 nights at Hickory Hollow. It was the perfect place for my wife and I, and our two dogs. The cabin was even better than the photos. It was decorated for the holidays which made it even cozier enjoying a glass of wine in front of the fireplace. The home was stocked with everything you could need , from games, to dishes. All the storage was labeled which allowed you to find anything you needed in a second. The location and view from the pet friendly porch can't be beat. We have nothing but great things to say about our stay and our hosts.

Wonderful mountain retreat!

We enjoyed every minute of our stay at Hickory Hollow Cabin! Truly home away from home. The porch offers breathtaking views! Franklin is a great town to explore. We loved the downtown area, antiquing, Fat Buddies,found a great local gym, Body Vision, Little Tennessee River Greenway, Maggie Valley, South Carolina, Rufus Morgan Trailhead, kayaking on Fontana Lake, Cattle ranch tour at Walnut Hollow Ranch, Asheville downtown walking tour, Locust Creek Park in Sylva. Donnie and Ronda checked all of the boxes for this beautiful cabin! Thank you!

Best mountain retreat

This cabin experience has been the best we ever had Not only is the cabin beautiful but it has all the amenities that anyone could ask for. Ronda and Donnie have gone out of their way to make our stay here beautiful and convenient. The kitchen has everything you’d need to prepare wonderful meals. The game closet is stocked with fun games. The electronics are exceptional. We couldn’t be more pleased if we were at our own home.
