Fully remodeled property with new main floor, very clean property. 240 ft. of lake front property on the Tri-Lakes/Canadian Lakes area. Championship golf courses like St. Ives and Tullymore resorts. The property sits on 1.4 acres so lots of outdoor space and laid out well. 3 kayaks and 3 paddleboards available. The complete area is very nice and has the up north feel with lots of golf, lakes, and other activities available. Beautiful indoor main living room with large windows to the lake and central air after a hot day outside. Large new firepit area with wood and seating. New large 12x20 patio 6 feet from the lake shoreline. Gazebo off the house with cooking are with large newer gas grills. If you want to rent the tri-toon it will be an additional charge, please request

Gary was extremely responsive both before and after our stay. The house has a gorgeous view, and is fully stocked with everything you need. We thoroughly enjoyed our time.

Perfect size for our Family event

I wish we could of spent more time at the house. Due to a family wedding on Lake Mecosta we really just slept here. It was quiet and comfortable. Everyone had a bed so it was perfect for the week! The view was tryly a pleasure with my morning coffee.

Fun, Sun & Fish!

Amazing location with the most picturesque view from the living room. All the comforts of home with the added benefit of being on the water and having access to the boat! Our host Gary was super helpful and responsive when we reached out. This was a much needed getaway for the family and it exceeded every expectation!

We would rent this property again. Plenty of space for everyone. The views from the house were amazing, and the loons sang to us everyday. Gary the host was amazing to work with. Thanks again Gary for sharing your house with us.

Great property and cottage.

Had to cut our stay short because of a death in the family. Otherwise the cottage worked out great for all of us

Pros: Beautiful property, beautiful views of the lake. Beautiful interior of the house with a lovely living/family room. It was a fantastic bonus to have TWO fridges for our use. There are tons of beds and would be perfect for a large family with lots of kids. Plenty of outdoor seating and the owner provides kayaks, paddleboards and the opportunity to rent a pontoon to enjoy the lake. We had campfires every night, it was so nice that they had wood ready for us.Cons: The property is very close to a main highway (M20) and the occasional road traffic kind of ruins the illusion of a peaceful lake getaway. The dishwasher was out of service when we visited so washing all of the dishes by hand was annoying. There is a really nice grill and blackstone however both propane tanks were empty so we couldn't use them. Additionally, there is no trash service so you are expected to take your own trash bags to the dump; It was a big inconvenience to put smelly bags of trash in our already packed car in the middle of summer to transport them. I think that is unreasonable to expect of your guests that are paying thousands of dollars to stay at a lake house. Overall, we had a nice stay but the road noise, dishwasher inconvenience and garbage situation means that we probably wouldn't stay here again.

Great Property, Location, View, & Vacation!

Gary was a great host! Prompt responses to all all my questions. House is spacious and welcoming. Kitchen-well stocked with Dishes/Pots/Pans/Utensils. Beds-Comfortable and lots of them! Only critique is lack of space or a closet in one of the upstairs rooms. Guests used the extra beds to hold luggage but no where to hang anything. If all beds are needed for guests there is no extra room and only 1 small dresser. The property is well laid out. Love the big deck and all the outdoor space and seating, the fire pit, and the view. Tri-Lakes - Beautiful. Peaceful. We had lots of fun Boating, Jet Skiing, Kayaking, and Fishing. Great Location! Close to Golf, Restaurants, Ice Cream, Winery's, Farms, and Shopping. We really enjoyed our stay in Mecosta. A beautiful and friendly small town with lots to do in the area and plenty to do if you never want to leave the lake. We look forward to returning and I would stay in this Lake house again. Thanks Gary!

What a nice cottage! Huge yard with all the amenities. Very spacious inside. Plenty of room for everyone. Kitchen literally has everything! The lake is awesome. We also rented the pontoon boat which was great. Perfect lake for tubing and fishing. Grocery store is 10 minute drive. I highly recommend staying here.

The lake house was perfect for our family’s week of rest and play. We enjoyed each amenity: the beautiful decks, kayaks and paddle boards, pontoon boat, large family room, and grills. The view was gorgeous. Gary was prompt to respond to questions. The house was a fun mix of Grandma’s cottage and modern lake house and included everything needed for a great vacation.

My family and I enjoyed a long weekend at the house. It was beyond perfect. We were surprised by how spacious the layout was - the large living room and kitchen (with 2 fridges!) was just what we needed with 5 adults and 3 young kids. The kitchen was well stocked too (though we always bring a lot of our own items). The deck and grounds are beautiful and well maintained. So much space outdoors to relax or play. Gary was very communicative and made the whole process smooth. The extra fee to use the pontoon boat was more than worth it. We got so much use out of it, and it was very special to share that with the kids. They even got to experience their first time tubbing! The only minor inconvenience which we did not realize is that the two bathrooms are both on the main floor so anyone sleeping upstairs has to make the trek down to use the bathroom. Just something to keep in mind with kids or older adults. We had no issues with it. In all, it far exceeded our expectations, and we hope to be back again in the future.
