We had a great stay here! Excellent location in Tremont. Walking distance to restaurants and bars, and a quick uber ride to downtown or Ohio City.

Staying here was lovely! Was provided excellent instructions on checking in and accessing the unit. Very cozy place to stay with everything you need!

This place is amazing! Everything was exactly what we needed. Very clean and well stocked. Cozy and comfortable with an excellent host. We stay here every time we’re in Leadville.

Fixed up nice. Hallway entrance could be cleaned up. It was nice 1.5 mile walk daily to Rocket Arena. Some good places for breakfast and drinks close by.

First off — fantastic location. Tremont is a charming neighborhood with lots of places to eat and shop. Rising Star, hands down some of the best coffee in Cleveland, is directly across the street and the wine cave. This is the perfect neighborhood for getting the local feel. Communication from the host before hand was good. I did not love this property though. I’ll start with the note from the host wanting to make sure there were no problems so we could guarantee them a 5 star review — I don’t like being made to feel guilty. Secondly, there are rules/notes posted everywhere (and I mean, everywhere) on the property that gave it a weird vibe. Thirdly, the furnishings were uncomfortable and small — we are average size people and the couch felt like it was for toddlers. The bathroom shower didn’t drain properly the entire time and the towels were minimal (2 very thin towels for a 4-night stay, we ended up running to Target to buy softer ones that were more absorbent). I really wanted to like the amenities, but between the feeling completely badgered by notes from the host and the discomfort of the bed/couch it was difficult. I would probably not stay here again. Also, there are people who live in the building full time, which is normal with Vrbo, but the hallway smells like cigarette smoke as soon as you open the door. And a window unit that you have run nonstop to make the place comfortable that is directly in front of the bed — so I was either really cold or had stale air.

Excellent stay

Updated, clean and very comfortable. Host very responsive to messages. She provided everything from Roku, to eye make up fiber cloths, shampoo/conditioner and coffee/creamer. Everything needed is a shot walk or drive away. Just be sure to lock your car.

Was tidy, nice, and just enough for what we needed

Everything went well and it was an enjoyable stay. My only complaint would be that there weren’t any napkins or paper towels provided, only one roll of toilet paper, and only two towels. We made it work but it would be nice if extras were supplied since it is listed in the description.

Lovely Apartment

This was our first time visiting Cleveland and we couldn’t have been more happy with this location & apartment. It’s in the heart of a trendy neighborhood. Walking distance to great restaurants & bars. The apartment was very pretty. Very clean with homey decor. The owner was pleasant to work with & made our stay very comfortable. section of the city

Two towels for two people staying almost 4 days. I roll of toilet paper, and the shower drain was clogged water would stand over your ankles. The location was perfect but the host could do better.

Tranquil tremont

Positives: Loved the neighborhood. Cute apartment with good management. Negatives: Didn’t realize that the bedroom is only separated by a 3/4 wall. It is truly a studio apartment. We arrived during a snowstorm. The sidewalk and porch were shoveled at 3 am. This was very loud and right outside our window but I was happy the sidewalks were treated. Was very cold and very drafty in the apartment but we were there during a cold few days. Coffee bar came complete with 2 pods for our 2 day stay. If you don’t want to provide the coffee, then don’t include it as an amenity. The apartment suited our needs for the two days.

Sorry you had a subpar experience. I dont control when the property gets shoveled, so apologies it was early in the morning. The coffee bar was an oversight, but you were more than welcome to have purchased your own. Thanks for mentioning the weather was below normal temperature- again, out of my control. Clearly you didnt see the space heater in the closet. Nonetheless, thanks for the review.

The apartment was wonderful and exactly as described. The kitchen was fully equipped with dishes, cookware, baking dishes and pans and utensils. There was even plastic wrap, tin foil, etc. The area is very quiet.Unfortunately, my stay was in the middle of a snowstorm with more than 15” of snow. There was nothing on the property as far as a broom or shovel to remove the snow. When I texted the host she really didn’t offer much of or any solution other than to say that I could call a tow truck if my car got plowed in. When I asked her if there was someone that would come and plow the walkways, etc., I didn’t receive a reply. A gentleman did show up in the middle of the storm on Sunday afternoon with a snow blower and did the walkway on the side of the house. I asked him if he was going to return and he said yes, but then never did. So what small amount he did do was snowed back over within a few hours. My car did end up being plowed in and I was lucky enough to have a woman drive by, stop, asked me if I needed help. She went home and returned with a shovel to dig me out. It’s also worth mentioning that the neighbors are NOT helpful at all. I went to three different homes, knocked on doors and no one would answer. I would see someone out shoveling and tried to ask for help and was ignored. So I would recommend that the host hire someone to come and remove snow properly and to provide at least a broom and shovel so that guests can dig themselves out if they’re plowed in.

Great Tremont Location!

Great location, cute property. Had one big issue though -- there was a mother bird and her chicks nesting IN the living room wall in a huge gap on the exterior of one of the windows. The birds were very loud, especially early in the morning -- making sleeping in nearly impossible. When I contacted the 'owner' she said she was aware of the problem and had already contacted the actual property owner (she was merely leasing the property and then re-renting it on VRBO). But, she said since she didn't own the property it was up to the actual owner to resolve the problem. She said the actual owner was supposed to be sending someone, but that she had no ideal when they would come. The issue was not resolved by the time we left. This didn't seem right -- I would think the person collecting my rent money through VRBO would be accountable for the upkeep of the property, not simply 'pass the buck' to someone else. The VRBO renter should have paid someone to come resolve the issue, then sort it out with the actual owner later. This "not my problem" response was very unsettling. Hopefully, VRBO can work to hold their listing owners more accountable.

Good location, space itself was clean, host communicated well, street parking was simple & free. The hallway leading to the apartment was cluttered, dirty & smelled terrible (cigarettes!), outside the exterior side door was a big bucket of cigarette butts (gross). No coffee pods provided. Even with noise machine, the upstairs renters/tenants' stomping was crazy loud into the night (and early in the morning). I emailed the host & she said she was contacting them but it continued. Fine for one night but not what I was expecting for a "tranquil Tremont" stay.
