--How to get here--
The local airport on the island is Mangrove Cay Airport (MAY/MYAB), and the flight time from Nassau to Mangrove Cay is about 20 minutes.

You can book a private charter from Nassau to Mangrove Cay. Prices are:
$1200 - Piper Aztecs (PA-27) seats 5 passengers + 250 lbs luggage,
booking through Bahama Hoppers Charter.
$1600 - Piper Navajo Chieftain (PA-31) seats 7 passengers + 450 lbs luggage,
booking through Golden Wings Charter.

Or you can book a scheduled flight with Flamingo Air or LeAir Bahamas. The two airlines split the flight schedule, meaning they take turns every week to fly out to Mangrove Cay.

Flamingo Air flies Sunday to Sunday on their respective week. Flight times from Nassau to Mangrove Cay are 08:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Tickets are available for purchase a year in advance.

LeAir flies Monday to Saturday on their respective week. Flight times from Nassau to Mangrove Cay are 06:30 AM and 4:00 PM. Tickets are available for purchase six months before departure.

We recommend renting a car if you want to have lunch or dinner at the local shacks, or to check out the different grocery stores, bars and small shops. Renting a car is about $60-80/day.

If you prefer not to rent a car, there is a small grocery store and a bar a short walking distance from the villa, and you can always pre-order groceries with our house deputy Margo.
