Your Vacation House is the perfect home for work or play in Estes Park and the Rocky Mountains - a delightful combination of Mountain living and Village adventures. This lovely home is nestled in a family neighborhood, located near the fairgrounds and Estes Park Community Center, and just minutes from downtown Estes Park. Bring your walking shoes, fishing poles, and bikes because Lake Estes, the fairgrounds, and the local museum are just a block away. Spacious and sparkling - this family home is a 1930s cottage that had a makeover in 2010. Ideal for 2-4 people with two bedrooms on the main floor - but extra guests will enjoy the lower level bedroom with bathroom. Step into the main floor living room and enjoy the gas fireplace while curled up on the comfy sofa. There is also a desk in the living room for any work tasks you need to take care of. The dining area with dining table for six opens into the kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped and ready for meal making! Step out through glass sliding doors onto the back deck from the dining area. On the main floor you will find two of the three bedrooms, and one of the two bathrooms. One main floor bedroom has a queen bedroom, and the other has two twin beds. The twin bedroom has access to a bright sun porch. The main floor bathroom has a shower. Downstairs you will enter into a large bedroom area that has a queen bed, and one set of twin bunk beds. There is a full bathroom with a shower. The laundry room with full size washer and dryer are also located in the lower level. For working remotely you will enjoy wireless internet with 12mbps download/6mbps upload service. If you are looking for a cozy home near all of the local attractions, perfect for fireworks viewing, with a lovely backyard for relaxing - then you will want to book your next vacation stay at Your Vacation House.

BEARS in the area - secure trash, lock doors and windows when leaving.

This home does not have a weekly trash pick up service. Trash will be picked up at departure. If necessary, trash will be picked up mid-stay for a nominal fee. Call the office at 970-480-8845. Trash must not overflow the bear proof trash can or be stored in the garage or home.

We reserve the right to conduct a property safety check during long term stays.

Local On-Call Staff available after hours for emergency issues only, i.e. gas leak, broken furnace, broken water line.

Plowing/shoveling occurs when we have 4 inches of fresh snow on the ground prior to your arrival.

Management provides a starter kit of amenities (an extra roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, one extra roll of paper towels, 2-3 garbage bags, sample-sized bottles of shampoo and conditioner, small bar soap, 2-3 laundry powder packs, 4-5 dishwashing pods, and liquid dishwashing soap). Guests will need to provide or purchase additional toiletries and products as needed beyond this starter kit.
Long-term reservations of 14+ days require mid-stay property safety checks or mid-stay cleans, additional trash pickups. These are charged to the guest, and charges can only be added after your reservation is made. Management will call the guest directly for payment for the following required services.

Great house!

We had a wonderful time at the house - it was perfect for our family! The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. We had a welcoming party our first night of two mama elks and their two babies in the backyard! Close enough to the lake to take a quick walk down there. Would definitely stay there again!

Beautiful Estes Park house

The property itself is beautiful and well-maintained. It has lots of space and was perfect for my small group of friends as we got together for an event in Estes Park. We were even greeted by a herd of elk moving through the backyard one day. It was an absolutely lovely stay and we would definitely do it again. The only negative, which is not the properties fault, but the city was replacing the front sidewalk on the day we arrived so the driveway was not accessible the entire time. The street parking was perfectly fine though.
