This condo was the best condo we have stayed in in PCB. We absolutely loved it. Very clean, fully furnished kitchen, top floor, and great ocean view. Will look for this unit the next time we travel to PCB.

The fees on VRBO are outrageous, I paid over 1000.00 JUST IN FEES. Everything I had a question or concern about she fixed it, she was awesome

We were very pleased with this unit. Everything was comfortable, it was clean, and the kitchen was well equipped. The property is excellent—well maintained and quiet. We’ve been staying there for the past several years and it is now the only place we go to.

Great spot

We stayed at The Commodore a few years ago and enjoyed the property. That end of the beach is pretty quiet and the walk to the state park is nice. A number of great food options within walking distance. Will definitely be back

Best location, great view

We have stayed at The Commodore many times; we love the quieter end of the beach. This condo is on the top floor, so the view is awesome. We were pleased with the furniture and decor, the kitchen was stocked well, there were a few games and movies, and plenty of pillows and blankets. I would definitely recommend this unit and plan to stay here again.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was a lovely place, a little dated in the bathrooms and they were small compared to what we were used to but not bad or nasty. Just dated. The balcony was fantastic and the beach was gorgeous. We had friends staying at the campgrounds across the street and that’s why we chose this location. It met our needs and gave us all a place to come hang out for a while, since it was during winter and the nights got a little cold. Overall, it’s definitely a place we would return to.

This was a wonderful spring break getaway. The condo was a good size for myself, husband and our 6 year old. There were some minor issues with a few things; Paula took care of them within hours of us communicating that to her. The view from the 13th floor is unmatched. The dolphins gave us a show for our last day as well! This area is great for families and not wanting to deal with the party scene part of PCB. There were a few restaurants walking distance, but for the most part, you have to drive to get to the majority of eating places. The pool is warm and perfect. The beach is gorgeous! The two beach chairs that come with the condo were comfy and ready before 8am - thanks to the awesome chair guy, Jordan! We will definitely be back! We didn’t even get to the park that is very close by - that’s on our list for next time! Book it - you won’t regret it!

Communication was ok, lots of incoming text about arriving and such, but no response when reaching out to them. Washer detergent drawer was broken. Floors were not cleaned, especially under the beds, sofa and chairs, found several items left by previous renters. Some Dishes in the drawers and cabinets were dirty. The patio furniture had rust particles all over the deck and old beach toys. The closets basically could only use a small portion of the floor because of so much stuff that was just tossed in, such as extra blankets and such, did not feel confident these were clean so we washed the throw blankets in the living room ourselves to be certain. Overall the condo just felt like it had a quick sweep and linens changed before we arrived yet received a message we could arrive early. Things out of the owners control with the property include not being able to enjoy the deck ocean view because of the constant smell of someone smoking weed and this was also an issue at the pool.

But there were a few cleaning mishaps that I actually took care of myself but I love the location and the view of the ocean was amazing my friend fell asleep on the balcony it was so peaceful. Overall a Nice Unit

We’ve stayed at The Commodore many times, so we love the location and grounds. This unit was listed with free beach chairs, but beach chair rentals were available in November. Out $120 for 2 beach chairs and an umbrella. Had trouble getting hot water to the 2nd bathroom and kitchen sink. We reported it, but it never was fixed during our stay. Overall, it was a nice unit that had some unexpected issues. We did enjoy PCB!

I would be leaving a good review because the condo itself was not bad but unfortunately we had a terrible interaction with the host of this property, Paula. The night of check in we bought groceries and placed them in the refrigerator. The refrigerator was not cold and we were scared we would lose our groceries and we had medications that needed to remain cold. We reached out for help and Paula told us that this was a known issue and that we out too many groceries in the refrigerator. She told us to remove our drinks and boxed items and then tomorrow start adding them back slowly. We were panicked that we would lose our groceries and medications. When we pushed back with questions Paula began to raise her voice and talk over us. This escalated to her telling us to pack our stuff and that she was leaving her house to come kick us out. Also She made me facetime her so she could diagnose the refrigerator. Not knowing my rights at the time as the tenant this caused so much emotional distress to include me begging her not to put my family (children and my 70 year old mother in law) out on the street. . We did not violate any terms of the rental agreement and were just scared that the refrigerator would not start cooling. This could have been avoided by a simple note on the refrigerator however this vacation was ruined by our interaction with this host. Highly recommend not to rent from this host!
