The resort never disappoints

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love the Galvestonian. It is always a great spot. Our room this time wasn't great in terms of its quality but the overall experience was still good. The room smelled like a wet towel left in your washer overnight any time the AC ran and you could smell it every time we came into the room which indicates they need to clean the actual air intake (not just replace filter), the bedroom doors wouldn't close, and the living room TV had a line down the center as if someone hit it in the past. Even with all of that being said, the layout of the room allows for the additional more secluded balcony where we spent a Great deal of time and that spot is awesome. The pickle ball courts are also very fun and the beach is still great.

Thank you for your review and for your continued support of The Galvestonian! We're delighted to hear that you continue to enjoy the overall experience, our beautiful beach, pickleball courts, and the unique balcony layout that gave you a relaxing space to unwind and enjoy the views. We also appreciate you bringing the concerns regarding the condo to our attention. Feedback about the AC odor, bedroom doors, and television is valuable, and we will be sharing your comments with the condo owner for review and consideration. Guest feedback helps us identify opportunities for improvement and enhance future stays. Most importantly, we're grateful to hear that despite those issues, you still had a great time and enjoyed everything The Galvestonian has to offer. Thank you again for staying with us. Long weekend and The Galvestonian

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We arrived and I could tell this was a well-run operation. The efficient and professional woman at the front desk quickly gave us our keys, wristbands, a list of do's and dont's and we were off to the elevators.Room 1106 was clean and tastefully appointed with two TV's and the usual kitchen appliances. There was even a small dishwasher - no soap however. The condo obviously has been kept updated with cabinets, a very nice stereo/AV system, and comfortable furniture and bed.We were only driving 20 miles for a long weekend "staycation" with family and friends in Galveston and this made an excellent home base. I highly recommend 1106 and will stay here again when the opportunity arises.

Perfect Condo for a couples getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was perfect for my husband and I. We loved the little extra room and the side balcony was so much roomier than the front balconies in in the condos we have stayed in before at the Galvestonian. Definitely plan on booking this condo again!
