Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway, nestled between the Ozark and Ouachita Mountain ranges. Unwind and enjoy the slow, rural stillness of this 4+ acre locally historic property. The Waveland White House conveys the serenity of yesteryear. With abundant daylight and a deep sea of night stars, come here to relax, reset, and renew. Take in the view of Mount Magazine from the front porch. Access to Blue Mountain Lake is within 2 miles. With tall ceilings, generous rooms, and amazing views, this is a charming 115-year-old house. Built in 1907 by the area doctor, it was a birthplace/healing space for prior generations of the local citizenry. Set back from a quiet country highway, the house is surrounded by woods on three sides, with a creek on one side. Enjoy visits from a family of crows that reside in the area and seasonally returning hummingbirds. Deer, possums, and raccoons wander through as well. The sound of flowing water from the creek and occasional crowing from a faraway rooster offer the perfect rural soundtrack.
Please note - as we designed this space to be a respite - we do not have any televisions. We do offer fiber WiFi.
