Perfect location and great service!

Cindy was there to check us in and help us when we had questions with the internet so that was amazing! You can't beat the location!

A very nice family get away

This was a great place for our family. We had a few bumps at the start but Cindy & the owner responded very well. Also, the neighbors and community members are very nice. Recommend this place.

Only complaint was that we weren’t aware there was no AC in the rooms, but weather was nice at night and didn’t cause too much of an issue. On site fans helped.

Great location and views

We had a great family get away here - it was close enough to the beach and shops/restaurants for my parents in their 70s to walk to everything. I was a bit worried about noise due to being so close to the busy beachfront area, but it wasn't an issue at all. Only minor issue is parking - if you have a very large rig like we do, it's not easy to park under the building, but there was plenty of outside guest parking available.

Perfect for family of all ages

We loved this property! It is a great location to have something to offer everyone of different ages. Plenty to do in see in walking distance. Can't beat the view. The house is a nice size and the beds are comfortable!

Just what we hoped for

Four seniors including a 92 year old who could not handle stairs were very comfortable in this large unit with elevator access to the second floor. Convenient laundry was next door down. Fully equipped kitchen made cooking a breeze (bring a knife sharpener). Loved the floor plan - everyone had their privacy and there was room to move around. Good wheelchair access. Couldn't be any closer to the beach. Look forward to returning. Multitude of excellent restaurants within walking distance. Shopping nearby - enjoyed the thrift shops.

You can’t ask for a better location.

Great location across the street from the beach. Beautiful views right from the balcony. Great fit for our family of four kids.

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit

We thoroughly enjoyed our little get away. This condo is located in a great area and it was wonderful to wake up each morning and watch the surf from the huge balcony. The check-in process was very easy and I just can't say enough about how much fun we had. The weather was perfect and there were box fans in each room which was really nice to bring the cool breeze in. We look forward to coming back and staying here again!

Oceanfront condo

Location was beautiful, view, ocean, shopping, restaurants were great. Condo was nice. Couch was supported with a chunk of wood. Very uncomfortable!! Beds were super comfortable. All the mirrors were hard to get used to. We found many pubic hairs in the master bathroom, very dirty ceiling vent and ripped and worn out carpet throughout the condo. Decorative kitchen utensils on wall had meat on them. Found someones panties, popcorn bags , misc. electronic cords, pens and other small objects under the beds when we were cleaning (not ours). Nice pots and pans. Plastic pitcher had a hole in it and we broke a glass. Pool was suppose to be open in February and it was not. Very disappointed in that because that was a part of our trip, I consider that false advertising. Although there was jack hammering on the front walkway, it only disturbed us 1 day. Parking garage was impossible for us to use. Once parked, we could not get out of our car. It was a midsize vehicle in a mini car space. Beautiful weather and excellent location. Condo just needs a better cleaning , new carpet and a new couch.

Uncomfortable Vacation with Amazing Views

We rented 210A for 31 nights. The views are spectacular and you can't get any closer to the beach and the marina. When we arrived (4 adults and 2 kids) there were 4 towels. Cyndi was kind enough to bring us linens the next day. Unfortunately, the living room furniture in this condo is well beyond it's best before date. All of the chairs in the living room were damaged and the couch had a sheet of plywood under the cushions. Not comfortable at all. We ended up bringing the lawn chairs in from the deck to sit on. Both bathroom fans squealed and obviously needed new bearings. Construction in front of the condo resulted in a constant dust storm as they jackhammered the planters out. No compensation was offered for this inconvenience although we requested it. We love this location and the layout of the condo, however, will not be returning because of the lack of consideration of the owners. Such a loss!

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. Construction around the outside of the building was still going on and was very disruptive for 5 days out of the stay. The rental was already discounted to $100 a night for a 3 bedroom condo facing the beach for 6 people. Owner of this unit repairs and makes improvements every year. For 2019 all twin beds were replaced and bathroom guest shower completely replaced. For this guest, the chairs needed to be tightened up for a better sit, and fans were oiled. The outside of the complex has gone under a major renovation from Jan - Oct 2018 with extended decks. The front lot renovation finished in May 2019 along with a pool area upgrade. One of the best places to stay on the beach in San Diego County.

Very Wonderful Condo

210A at Marina del Mar is exactly as described and we love it. Modern, clean, great view ... the owner even left a small Christmas tree for the dining table. Would LOVE to stay here again sometime.

Paradise

We were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary and decided to stay at Marina Del Mar Condo 210A with our family...what a great decision made. The accommodations were A1. We look forward to return in the near future. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Thank you for making our special celebration "special."
