Welcome to the Shore Thing! Located in beautiful Harbor Shores and by the beach

Located in the community of Harbor Shores, this home is nestled in a quiet community between the Harbor Shores golf course, Paw Paw river and Lake Michigan. Jean Klock beach is a block away. This home is less than 2 miles from downtown St. Joseph, a mile from downtown Benton Harbor and has many wineries and breweries nearby. Cozy and beautifully decorated, this home is perfect for families, golf trips, girls trips, or a couples retreat! Relax and recharge at the Shore Thing!

The space

Our home features two primary bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. One of the primary bedrooms has a desk if you need a place to work with a view of the Paw Paw river. We have a basement with two twin beds and a daybed with a trundle (please note that the basement does not have a door). We store extra chairs under one of the twin beds, and extra comforters under the other... just in case you’re looking for them. The basement has it’s own full bathroom, too. All of our bedrooms feature alarm clocks that duo as a white noise machine which can be helpful to get some extra rest!

Our family room has two comfy couches and a chair, and our kitchen is well stocked! Our dining room table comfortably fits six. If you’re in the mood to dine al fresca, we have a patio with a gas grill and outdoor dining table that also sits six. Our back porch overlooks the 6th hole of the Harbor Shores, a Jack Nicklaus golf course, with a love seat and two chairs to enjoy the view.

You will find beach gear and bikes in our garage that you are welcome to use during your stay. We even have an outdoor shower to hose yourself off after a day of having fun outdoors! We have toys for the kids and board games for the entire family, as well as a selection of books for all ages. We also keep a pack and play and highchair in the bedroom closet upstairs.

We provide the following for your convenience: dish sponge, dish soap, 5 dishwasher pods, 5 laundry pods, dryer sheets, 5 trash bags, and a roll of paper towels. Each bathroom has 2 rolls of toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, a hair dryer, q-tips and cotton swabs. We provide all linens, bath towels and beach towels for your stay.

Other things to note -

Our home owners association requires bookings at least 10 days in advance.

You must park in our driveway and garage as our community does not allow street parking for renters... and we don't want you to get towed :)

Renters may not use the community firepit.

We do not accept reservations for bachelor or bachelorette parties.
