Great house and great location! The house itself was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. We enjoyed fishing and playing games in the game room. I especially appreciated the fact that the mattresses and pillows were comfortable because I always have a hard time sleeping away from home. As for the location, while there are neighbors, you wouldn't have known. It was quiet and private, which was very nice. We also like the fact that we were easily able to take quick trips to Canyon Lake, Fredericksburg and Kerrville during our stay. We would definitely rent here again!

John and Penny are very awesome! We stayed for a short weekend and loved every moment! The pond was amazing with the kayaks and plenty of entertainment with fishing, playing games in the game room and overall just a nice get away from the city. Everything you'll need is affordable and just a quick drive away for any good or miscellaneous items. Our 12 yr old absolutely loved the pond and the river. Such a great little stay. Thank you John and Penny we hope to stay again in the near future!

The property was great. We enjoyed the game room and the kayaks and the game room. Watching the deer was relaxing. Overall, we had a great mini vacation.

This property exceeded our expectations. It truly had everything in one place—kayaking, fishing, outdoor space, games, and all the amenities needed to host our guests comfortably. It’s the perfect weekend getaway to step away from everyday life and enjoy quality time with family and friends

We had an absolute amazing week at this beautiful property. There was something to do for everyone in our family ranging from 9-70 years of age. Not once did anyone hear “what are we doing next?” The pond was so clean and we sure fished! My daughter-in-law caught the big one much to our sons chagrinThe river was so great. Peaceful, shady, and relaxing. We really can’t say enough. We have been talked about making it a yearly family vacation! Thank you John and Penny for such wonderful memories made.

We had an amazing weekend with kids- we fished the pond, swam and kayaked in the river, and played in the game room when it rained. Our host was communicative and we would definitely book the property again.

A super fun July 4 th weekend. So much to entertain kids and fun fishing in the pond. We loved the River the most but you need a 4 wheel drive to get to it, which we did have. Communication was poor - don’t know why- messages were not answered for many hours later!

We had a great time, perfect place for kids, grandkids and grandparents. The pond is super for kids to fish (always catch anytime of day) kayaks provided were a blast for racing around the island and taking them down the river. Kitchen much better stocks with condiments, silverwear, coffee etc then most others we have stayed at. Very clean, game room was god send with rainy days. Good location. Alround everything we hoped for.

The property was beautiful, the home was comfy and cozy and had all the needed supplies for our stay. We also enjoyed the game room and fishing in the pond! We will definitely be returning for another stay in the hill country.

Beautiful home and property. Spacious, secluded, scenic and very relaxing. The home has all the expected amenities as well as the property featuring an indoor game room and a huge pond outside the back door and great river access just down the short walking path. Great place to stay.

This is a great property for any type of sta. My family enjoyed the fishing and pond by the house, the short walk to the beautiful River, and the quick drive to everything you could need in Kerrville if not available in CenterPoint. The house was perfect and had everything you could need. The game room was fun and the host provided great communication. We would love to come back in warmer weather to enjoy the river more.

Family Fun

Better than the photos! A comfortable and private home with something fun for the whole family. The game room, trampoline, and kayaks were a huge hit for everyone ages 2-44. The owners are communicative, kind, and focused on providing the perfect environment for making vacation memories. We will absolutely stay again!

Interrupted holiday , unfortunately flood

The location is beautiful, and the host very attentive and care for us, unfortunately we were in the middle of the 4 July flood that occurred, we were safe , but needed to interrupt the stay and return home cause by this emergency, prayers for the families affected.

Beautiful, Peaceful Spot

We enjoyed cooling off in the river and the provided tubes and kayaks made that easy and fun. The game room was a nice distraction and the house was comfortable and cool on hot summer days. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to enjoy relaxing meals together. A great stay and great hosts!

Graduation weekend

Very clean property and has been recently remodeled. We used for overflow of family in town for graduation. Unfortunately we did not get to enjoy all it had to offer since activities at another location. Is great place to stay and enjoy including nice river access and game room. Owners very good communicators entire time.

Amazing

We truly enjoyed our stay here. The property had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The kids and ourselves enjoyed the playroom and the pond for fishing. We enjoyed kayaking down the river and back and the walk to river was not bad. ( about a 5 minute walk down) . John was amazing to work with and ensured we were set to enjoy our vacation. Will definitely stay here again.

the rental was perfect for our family, very comfortable, clean, and safe was close to all area we were visiting and far enough away to feel isolated from public access to pond and river were excelent would recommend highly to any wanting to relax and enjoy time with family great place to stay

Fantastic place to stay! Location is great and not far from anywhere you want to go. House and grounds are fabulous. Very clean and well stocked. Penny is a great host and very accommodating. We go to the hill country at least twice per year because we ride motorcycles and ride all the fun twists and turns. The pond is exceptionally nice and we like to fish. We will be going back. Great place to stay!

Amazing get away home

The house was completely stocked with everything needed on a vacation trip. Penny & John gave us updates on the river levels as well the conditions of the road leading to the river leading up to our stay. The pond is stocked with fish, that we enjoyed fishing daily. The river area was perfect and private. We only had a few tubers and kayakers pass through. We definitely recommend this location and will be back.

Fun at Centerpoint,Tx.

We had a wonderful time! We really enjoyed the game room! We had fun playing darts, ping pong, foosball, basketball and air hockey with our son and granddaughter! Kitchen had everything you need. Easy check in. Our son and granddaughter enjoyed the kayaking. Even caught a few fish! All in all it was a really nice getaway!
