Wonderful family reunion

This was the perfect house for our family reunion. Close to the beach and the home is beautiful.

Lovely property. Beautifully appointed and well-located. The staff at Akers Ellis was very attentive when we called in with a couple questions. Service was prompt and friendly.

Perfect House

Although Hurricane Debbie cut our vacation short, the house was absolutely perfect. Can't wait to go back!

Nice house, mold issue

We really liked the house but there was an issue with one on the bathrooms. The bathroom off the center hall on the second floor had black mold around the light/vent fan.

Beautiful house. Wonderful well stocked kitchen. Pool was great. We had a wonderful family vacation.

Excellent stay

Even with the rainy weather we had a wonderful stay in this lovely home. The pool and hot tub were a main attraction as well as the short walk or bike ride to the beach. The rental company was top notch and so helpful - making sure everything was taken care of before and during our stay and quickly responding to any questions we might have. We had a lovely multi-generational vacation there and would definitely return!

Great Vacation Spot

We are a family of 5. We loved the house - very clean and check in was easy. Bathrooms were really nice. The master bathroom has a rain and steam shower. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies. As far as location- we could easily bike or walk to the beach; we could also bike into Town (the 5.5 miles to Freshfield Center was easy). Overall a great place to stay!

Luxury Beach Oasis in Kiawah

Absolutely loved this beach house at Kiawah!!! House is thoughtfully laid out and furnished/ decorated beautifully. All the bedrooms were comfortable, well furnished and spacey. Kitchen was a dream to cook in. Loved the pool to plunge in after a day at the beach. Great location to get to the beach, golf and bike trails. We could not have loved our stay more. This house has it all! Would love to return some day!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented for a month during the winter. The home was beautiful and within a 3 block walk to the beach. It had all the equipment a family could possibly imagine: bikes, beach toys to puzzles. We enjoyed the hot tub and comfortable furnishings- sophisticated yet island vibe!

This was our second time to stay at this property and there are many things we love about it: it's clean; it's beautiful, inside and out; it's large enough to accommodate our family and/or group of friends; it's well furnished; the beds are comfy (although I'd suggest adding 1 to 2 more King beds in the upstairs bedrooms without them); and the outdoor deck/pool/hot tub are a great place to hang out when not at the beach. Plus it is in close proximity to the beach...just a short 5 minute walk. I highly recommend this property to anyone considering it for their Kiawah visit.

3 Minute Bike Ride to the Kiawah beach

Great location near Turtle Point, fishing ponds and of course the beach. Nice pool. Sonos speakers throughout the house made meal prep and pool time more fun. Kids loved the media room

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a beautiful home. It is clean, well-furnished and the layout of the home very comfortably accommodated our group of 8. The main floor (2nd floor) is awesome...the kitchen, dining room, sunroom and living room are well-connected in an open was the perfect gathering spot for our group. All the appliances and home furnishings were modern and worked as they should (except for TV in Master Suite which didn't work 4 of the 7 days we were there). We were disappointed by the outdoor areas. When we arrived, all of the decks and deck furniture were covered in pine straw, leaves and cobwebs. Our group spent considerable time cleaning these areas so we could use them. The deck, pool and spa are much smaller than they appear in pictures. Neither the pool or spa lights worked, so we weren't comfortable using either at night. The water was cold and there's a $75/day charge to heat the water. We felt this fee was excessive considering what we paid to rent the home. The home has a wooded golf course view and is an easy 5-10 minute walk to the beach. The location is great! We'd recommend this home to others based on it's location and awesome inside living space.

House had a great location and it was very impressive with its roominess.

The decor was perfect for a beach vacation home. Our family of 7 enjoyed the pool which was a perfect size for the adults and 2 toddlers. We enjoyed the closeness to the beach and enjoyed walking through the area. The kitchen was well stocked with all that was needed for our cooking. We were disappointed that the gas grill was rusty and there was not a gas tank for us to use. We were familiar with the South Carolina roaches since we had stayed in Hilton Head and for the most part, the insecticide worked but there were several occasions of roaches in the house. We enjoyed several restaurants and the grocery store in the little village area. It would have been helpful to have a written information sheet about some of the particulars of the house. Overall the home exceeded our expectations.

Great place for a family reunion

Our four grandchildren loved sharing the "bunk room." Although we enjoyed using the pool and hot tub, the huge additional charge to heat them was excessive on top of an expensive rental.

The optional pool and spa heating fees simply covers the large amount of propane it takes to heat so much water. Neither the owner or our rental company makes any kind of profit from those fees.
