My family and I had such a great stay at Wall Lake. The house was adorable, so thoughtfully planned out with everything we could possibly need for a few days of relaxing. The kitchen worked great for making delicious meals together and we utilized the grill as well. My sons loved fishing on the dock and going down to the beach. We especially loved getting cozy as a family on the couch, warm by the fireplace to watch a movie. The beds were truly comfortable plus the sound machines and dark blinds were a great added touch for maximum sleep. We will remember this vacation forever and would recommend this place to anyone!

Exceptional lodging location for a quiet, comfortable and relaxing weekend getaway. All amenities listed were as such and functional. The host was fantastic with correspondence. Highly recommend this venue.

My family and I had a GREAT stay here. Pictures, first of all, don't do the place justice -- it's so cozy, and very nicely furnished and supplied, with good-quality housewares. I think the beds are the nicest of any home rental we've ever stayed in. The lake is beautiful and clean, and was surprisingly quiet during our early-August stay. Our young kids had a great time splashing and swimming and loved the little beach which was an easy quarter-mile walk. My mom uses a walker, but found the slight decline between the parking and the house to be pretty doable, and got around the house just fine. We didn't explore tiny Orland much, but it does have a nice DG that covered our needs for a small grocery run, and Angola is an easy trip for everything else. (Make the drive for Scoops Ice Cream on SR 127, it's amaaaazing!)

The first impression upon entering the property, is, WOW. It's gorgeous and very upscale feeling without being pretentious. Very comfortable and everything you need is there. Including some water sports if you want to. Lake looks great to swim in too. The host is very easy to get ahold of for anything you may want to discuss. The kitchen is lovely and easy to work in. We didn't cook but we did use it now and then. Has everything you'd need. We got to enjoy the hot tub even in the rainy conditions we had. Perfect to relax in. All in all, even though we had a completely rainy weekend we could relax and unwind under the awning , which was the main reason for this get a way. We did go into Angola and checked out antique shops and an ice cream shop. I highly recommend this property . It is as advertised and more.

Beautiful property. The kitchen area is quite small including the table space. Stove/oven are very small and several pots or pans do not fit on them (even the ones provided). The lack of supplies such as no dishwasher pods was a bit of an inconvenience. The deck space is beautiful. Be cautious of poison ivy around the deck/stairs to and from the lake.

We're glad you enjoyed your stay, Alexis, but are so sorry that we didn't earn 5 stars from you. Up to 10 people can eat in the kitchen area: the table comfortably seats 4 - and holds 6 when kids double-up on the benches - plus the 4 stools on the kitchen bar. All the pots fit on the stove and the larger pans that don't fit in the oven we use on the outside grill (it cooks a yummy turkey!). We wish you would have asked about the detergent pods so that we could have directed you to the cabinet they were in. What you mistook for poison ivy is actually Virginia Creeper (it has 5 leaves, whereas poison ivy only has 3).

This quality home was very clean and comfortable. It met our expectations and was a perfect get away. We enjoyed the hot tub and beautiful lake views. All descriptions were accurate and the house manual was vey helpful. The host was also very responsive.

The house was great. We had a group of four that stayed for two nights. View of the lake was nice. The back patio overlooking the lake had an awning so we enjoyed sitting there to eat our meals together. The speakers and technology in the house made playing music in house really easy. We loved having access to a hot tub and still in view of the lake. We would definitely stay again. Host was really responsive to questions we had leading up and checked in to make sure we were good. We had a great time!

Perfect long weekend

We had a delightful 4 days at the lake house. 5 stars for all categories!! 6 adults and plenty of space. Every amenity thought of. It felt like we were staying at a friend’s place versus a rental unit. Can’t wait to visit again.

Indiana at its best

Perfect location to enjoy getting away from it all. Oh, we were still able to get a good perch dinner and pick up a gallon of milk so it's not off the grid!!

Great House and location

The house was set up perfectly for a large family to stay. We have plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen accommodated us cooking a big meal on one of the nights of our stay. Everything was clean and organized. We have family close by so we plan on staying again. 100% recommend.

Amazing lake house

Such a unique house! We were only there a few days, but loved the house and lake. My son and husband spent hours on the kayak fishing while my daughter and I enjoyed the beach. The views were amazing, the house was clean, modern, and well-stocked, and the kids loved the loft sleeping. Would definitely return if we are in the area again!

Vacation success!

The owners thought of everything we might of forgotten ! Even a coffee grinder! Ice cube trays in the freezer to use ! From bedding, towels, shampoo, conditioner and body wash!Even the beds were so comfortable! The porch/deck was perfect ! The swing was my favorite! Excellent stay to enjoy my grandkids and 2 daughters ! Thank you for our wonderful memories we have of our vacation!

Everything was good except there was no water in the hot tub and the code was not changed colorectal to the door when we arrived and had to leave the owner to get updated.

The hot tub was only recently delivered and hasn't been hooked up yet, which is why it wasn't included in the listing, nor was a premium for it reflected in the rate you paid. We loved our stay at the Cottage. The View was priceless. The cottage had everything we needed. The kitchen was had everything we needed and more. The individual air conditioning in every room made it comfortable for everyone. We spent most of our time on the deck only possible with the sunsetter awning. We enjoyed the availability of the kayak. Our only negatives were the front steps, and no hand rail on the back walkway as we are in our 80's. We weren't able to use the grill but once as there was so muh grease in the bottom we had nothing but flames even after turning off the burners. Great fire Hazzard. All in all we had a great stay and would stay there again.

Thank you for highlighting that the property is not very accessible so that future guests are sufficiently alerted. We thought we had already done that with our description and pictures, but appreciate you adding your perspective. We're unable to clean the grill between guests when new guests come the same day, which is why we ask guests to clean it after they've used it, so we're sorry that the prior guests didn't follow those instructions.

One of my favorite VRBO stays ever!

We have just returned from the DEEEEEEP BREATH that was our trip to this wonderful lakehouse on Wall Lake outside of Orland, IN. In short, it was perfect and exactly what we needed/ wanted in a lake getaway. We loved being just steps away from the dock. The water was lovely - clear and very clean and refreshingly cool but not cold. The underwater incline was very gradual and there was an enormous area the children (5yo-17yo) could play (at least 40 feet.) The children were in the water first thing when they woke up and last thing before bed! The dockside chairs and fire pit were enchanting. We also spent an afternoon at the little public beach right down the road playing, building sand castles, floating, sitting, and staring. The house itself is incredibly comfortable. It is clean and uncluttered - minimal, chic, and welcoming. (I appreciated so much that there weren't unnecessary tchotchkes around!) We all slept wonderfully on the beds. The appliances are adorable - about 3/4 size. I love that there's individual air and fans in bedrooms. One thing we really appreciated that we haven't seen elsewhere was that the house manual was really helpful. The check-out instructions, in particular, were simple and thorough. I hope we have an opportunity to stay again at this delightful place. It really was exactly what we needed. When our teens were given the opportunity to go explore elsewhere or stay put, they chose the lakehouse! Thank you again for sharing your special spot!

Perfect spot for a girls trip!!! The lake was clear and beautiful. We loved using the kayak and board. The kitchen was stocked with EVERYTHING we needed. The house itself is cozy and clean. We are planning on going back for sure!
