Welcome to Terrapin Station, CR! This 2-bedroom/2 full-bath second-floor condo is the ideal space for your dream jungle vacation. The perfect mix of wildlife, beach proximity and a serene, safe area. The apartment is an open-air concept, the deck has a beautiful 10ft breakfast bar, overlooking the pool. This gated complex has WiFi, AC, pool, anything to make your stay most enjoyable! Only 2km to Carrillo Beach, #27 in the world.

The owner promised TWO beds. There was only one. This would have been a great experience for a couple in a relationship. It was terrible for one of us to sleep on a couch that a small dog would be uncomfortable on! The place was nice, yet the broken promise tainted what would have been 100%

Host not friendly
Good location and nice property.
Lack in cleanliness and host wasn't helpful.
When I asked about an idea of how long the drive would take from the airport to the property she responded to Google it.
I had to relay on the groundskeeper to help me with items I needed and information.

Regarding your concerns, when asked about the travel time from the airport, we recommended using Google Maps as it provides real-time information that accounts for variables like traffic and road conditions, ensuring accuracy for your specific trip.
As for assistance, we strive to provide prompt support to all our guests. However, we didn’t receive any messages or requests from you during your stay, so we were unaware that you needed additional help. We're pleased to hear our groundskeeper was able to assist, as they're always happy to help when on-site.
We take cleanliness seriously and wish you had let us know if anything didn’t meet your standards, as we would have addressed it right away. Your feedback will help us continue improving. Thank you for staying with us!

Disgusting 2nd bathroom sink
Property was as expected not issues. The 2nd bathroom sink was so disgusting i refused to use it. Shower and toilet were fine. If i had to look into the sink i used the kitchen sink.

The pool was the saving grace for this property. I would not go anywhere in this region without a pool, it was wonderful to escape the heat and humidity. We were lucky as we were alone in this complex for 10/14 days. That was wonderful as when other units were occupied they had kids that lived in the pool so you never had time to enjoy the pool when others were there. We never had more than 1 family there besides us at a time, but the property has 5 units, so if all 5 were occupied, probably not a great experience.Disliked · First, it was misadvertised on Booking as a 3 Minute Walk to the beach. This is just wrong. You need a car as it is several kilometers to the beach and the roads have nowhere safe to walk anyway. The location was very loud, although it is a quiet neighborhood there was construction up the hill and there were constant dump trucks and motorcycles driving right by the property. The front door has slats with gaps and all the windows are single pane, so you had to keep the loud AC on all the time to try and keep at least one room cool. The couches were old and dirty.

We also appreciate you pointing out how shared amenities can feel different depending on occupancy. Our pool is a common space for all five units, and while many guests enjoy the family friendly atmosphere, experiences can naturally vary when more families are staying at the same time. We always aim to set clear expectations for future guests so they can decide what best fits their travel style.
Regarding the location, thank you for highlighting this. We are continuously working to make sure our listings accurately reflect distances and local conditions. While the neighborhood itself is residential, nearby development and normal road traffic can occasionally create noise, which is common in growing areas. We recommend guests who prefer beach access by foot or very quiet surroundings to consider this when booking, and a car is definitely helpful for getting around comfortably.
Your comments about the furnishings and cooling are also noted. We are already reviewing these areas to see where improvements can be made, as guest comfort is important to us.

Bosque Del Lago is a very safe neighborhood that is quiet and easy to access year round because it is on a flat and well maintained road. It is conveniently located and near to many restaurants and stores.
