Bayside vista

I would like to welcome you to a cozy, quiet, bayside apartment. This spacious 2 bedroom, 1 bath can sleep 6. Two comfy queen beds, a daybed with trundle on the cantilevered porch overlooking the bay. Beautiful views make for a relaxing stay.

You are a short 30 minute ride from many locations that are popular here in Maine. Also a beautiful 45 to 60 minutes ride down Coastal Route 1, brings you to places like Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, Camden, Rockport, & Rockland and much more.
The space
This is a spacious apartment that has two large bedrooms. Each of these have a queen size bed. A well equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar looking out to the breath taking view. The kitchen, dining, living room, and cantilever porch is a beautifully comfortable open concept.
Guest access
This whole apartment is available for your convenience. I have a couple of storage closets that will be locked.
Other things to note
We are located directly above our waterfront walkway. This is approximately one mile walk on a brick lined and landscaped path along the river. There are picnic tables scattered along the way with one just off the back of our building.

Very spacious space with all if the amenities a group or family could need. The view is spectacular, the kitchen is nice, and I especially loved lounging on the giant couch!

Bayside Vista is a perfect place to stay and see this part of Maine. All the little extras that were provided were a nice touch, and Lauri was a great host. The view over the water is so relaxing.

Bayside Vista felt like a home away from home coupled with the sceneic views of the Penobscot Bridge and Fort knox it was truly a great experience. My wife,daughter and i loved the decor and amenities. We plan to be back.again!

My second stay here, just as good as I remember. This time I brought my family and it was a great space for the whole crew. Clean, functional and a great view. Host is super friendly and very quick to respond.

Just perfect!

This place is amazing! So clean, so big and in the perfect location. Bucksport is a cute little town and only 1-2 hour drive from some great destinations (Bar Harbor , Boothbay, Camden, 201 road, Acadia ect.). The owners take amazing care of this place and it had everything we needed and more for our family (2 adults, 2 kids)

Imagine walking into a warm and cozy suite illuminated by Christmas tree lights and the reflection of Penobscot Narrows Bridge on the bay and freshly fallen snow AFTER a 24-hour flight delay. This was the welcome Lauri created for us when we arrived at midnight. We traveled from Florida to watch our son play basketball at MMA and even though we lost a day, the entire experience we had made up for it. Too many details to list here, but Lauri will ensure that your stay at Bayside Vista exceeds your expectations, as she is a master at providing "unreasonable hospitality".

Beautiful place and location

Cozy place with modern amenities and a fantastic view. The coffee and tea bar is wonderful and thoughtfully prepared. The kitchen is perfectly stocked and fun to cook in. The best part was lounging on the couch, looking at the penobscot narrows, while enjoying the peaceful quiet with my partner while we knitted. Thank you for the relaxing vacation.

The most beautiful hidden gem of a property

This was my favorite rental of all-time. The view is beyond incredible. Getting to see the bay at all different times of day in all different light was my favorite part of the stay. The condo is so tranquil and relaxing. Lauri is an exceptionally hospitable host. Thank you for such great memories. I hope to be back as soon as I can.

just marvelous

when my wife and i first walked in we were in awe..... this place was much more then we expected..... everything was thought out right to the tee.... from having toiletries to having food in the cabinets lauri did a great job on this place you can tell she thought it out... very good host we will be back when we are in the area.... i will give this place a 10+++ from the views to to location..... thank you so much lauri

Lauri is an excellent host. The apartment is perfect with its layout and finishing touches. Everything is well thought out as it has a very welcoming vibe and wonderful views of the Penobscot River, Narrows Bridge, and accros the river to Fort Knox. We were welcomed to the property with a kind letter, wine and saltwater taffy. The only regret is that we only had one night. We hope to return again. Thank you Lauri!

The view is phenomenal. It’s close enough to Acadia for multiple day trips, but don’t skip out on Fort Knox or the Penobscot Narrows Bridge and Observatory. Lauri has created a wonderful setup and thought of everything we could need. I asked one question on the day of arrival and she took care of the request before we arrived. Top notch. I only wish we could have spent more time there. Our kids actually asked to stay even longer. They loved the place! They enjoyed quite a few movies on the tv and apps provided.

Exceptional place to stay

A great place to stay. Clean, convenient, a beautiful view, and a responsive host that has thought of everything. I love that they had French press coffee (as well as keurig if that’s more your style) this allowed me to enjoy mornings overlooking the harbor without leaving to find my morning pick me up. I forgot soap/shampoo, no problem there’s a dispenser in the shower. I will definitely being staying here again when coming to see family. The only thing I would mention as something to think of before booking is that if you are traveling with a kid there is no outdoor space to just let you kid out. The waterfront is right there and there is a lot of green space, but any children would need to be strictly supervised.

Our entrance in right on Main street in Bucksport, in our back yard is a great marina and breath taking views of Fort Knox, along with Penobscot Narrows Bridge and Observatory. Bucksport is a quaint sweet little town that is located in the center of so many beautiful places. We are a hop, skip and a jump, away for Acadia National Park, some may say. Bangor, Ellsworth, Blue Hill, Belfast, and Castine are all just 15 to 18 miles away. Bangor International Airport and Bangor Waterfront Concerts are about a 30 minute drive.
