This is a custom-built house in a nice secluded spot, and the owners clearly put money into it. The interiors are attractive, there's a nice leather sofa, and the kitchen is well equipped with three sinks. There's plenty of space. That said, as a rental it still needs some improvement. The beds could be more comfortable, and aside from the master, all the other beds are twin size, which is worth knowing if you're traveling with adults or teens.Privacy was lacking. With the exception of the bedrooms, none of the other windows have coverings, which would be fine if this were the only home on the property. But there's a unit upstairs and possibly other occupants in the garage next to the house. The house also has a lot of fragile decorations, so I wouldn't call it ideal for families with young children. There were a couple of small maintenance issues, and the host only responded via text, which was inconvenient when we needed a quicker back-and-forth.One more inconvenience: trash has to be taken to the end of the street, about 200 feet away, far enough that you'd want to drive. A trash can next to the house would be a simple fix. It's a beautiful home, but it was clearly designed as a house first and a rental second. With better beds, window coverings, and a few guest-focused fixes, it could be excellent.
