Hopefully, you found the batteries we leave in the kitchen drawer for just such a circumstance, we did replace all the smoke alarm batteries, door alarm batteries,et cetera during our August visit. We hope you'll consider another Springstead stay in your future.

Thanks for your second stay. It was great to have you back again. The snow is temperamental, but the north woods are always welcoming.

Thank you for such a kind review. I'm so glad that you were able to enjoy the northwoods in all its snowy splendor twice this winter season, and I'm hoping you'll come back in the summertime. Guests like you make my job easy!

Thank you for your lovely 5 star review, Mayra. This has been an outstanding year with lots of snow and cold weather. Ideal for snowmobilers! I'm so glad that you enjoyed your weekend and look forward to hosting you again next year.

Thank you for your 5 star review. We work very hard to earn that. I can tell you enjoy the same things we do; being on the water and listening to the loons, it's such a secluded place there. Things may have gotten a little dusty from cleaning the pollen off of the screen porch prior to your arrival. But I will mention that to my cleaning crew. We do strive to have the home.Immaculate for each renter, and a knife sharpener is on my list. Thanks again.Hope to see you in the future.

Thank you so much for your kind of 5 star review. We love the screen porch too, and spend a lot of time there. The solitude on the lake is so peaceful and we love listening to the loons and watching the eagles
