Jamie is very responsive to any questions and so very helpfully. The property is in the perfect location. No stairs quite side of the building with a perfect private shaded parking spot.We would leave the sliders open at night and listen to the trickle from the water feature on the grounds.The unit is beautiful, comfortable and had everything you need plus more.Location is perfect. One of the pools and hot tubs is a hop and skip from outside patio.You are within walking distance of everything. No need to get in you car.Totally chill and relaxing trip at Jamie’s place

Wonderful Stay and Wonderful Host!My family enjoyed our stay in this beautiful, fully stocked condo. It had everything you could possibly need to feel at home.I was very impressed with how clean and organized everything was.The location is great; close to the pool and a short walk to a nice beach.Our host was very attentive and easy to communicate with.We look forward to staying here again next time we're in Maui!

Jamie’s condo was great for our vacation. It was clean, and fully stocked - beach toys, towels, chairs, and the kitchen had all the condiments and everything we needed to cook. Jamie was super sweet and left us a Maui pineapple and chocolates as a welcome gift. Check in was easy, as was communication. The condo is well situated across from Kam II, and close to restaurants, etc. The only small thing I would recommend in the space is an extra armchair or larger couch in the living room for family movie night. Mahalo for your hospitality!

Great Aloha vibes from the host, Jamie and the condo. My family and I stayed for 12 days and we literally had everything we needed. Jamie was amazing and let us check in early, since our flight arrived early Maui time and we had littles that needed naps. Would absolutely stay again. The condo was extremely clean, and there were so many thoughtful touches that made our stay that much more enjoyable. Thank you! So much Aloha!

This unit was well stocked and clean. There was a bunch of extra stuff in the kitchen pantry including paper plates, napkins, shopping bags, a blow up air bed, beach towels, extra toiletries plus more. Everything was in working order and we loved how quickly the stove heated up. The beds were very comfortable and the 2 bedrooms were enough space for our family of 5. It was nice to have the beach accessories included to make a day at the beach hassle free. It is a ground unit which is great to get out quickly. One of the pools is super close, it isn’t as close to the beach because it’s one of the farther back units but it was very quiet and the sounds of the birds were very relaxing. I wouldn’t hesitate staying there again and the owners were very quick to respond when I emailed any questions. Check in was very easy and the reserved parking space was very close by. I would definitely stay there again if going back to Kīhei. Thank you Jamie..

Great condo in a very central location in Kihei. Very close to the beach, shops, and restaurants. It was exactly as described and as shown in the pictures. Very clean and well stocked with all the basic necessities for time spent at the condo and at the beach. Beach gear included: 4 beach chairs, 2 beach umbrellas, lots of beach towels, good selection of snorkel gear, boogie boards, cooler, etc. Separate air conditioning units in each of the bedrooms and the living room were great. It was also great having a washer and dryer in the condo. Tide pods were provided. Excellent communication about check in/out procedures. Jamie was very responsive and came to the condo same day to replace the batteries that had died in the in-suite safes. As Hurricane Nola was passing through on the night we arrived, the owners provided a case of water bottles and a rechargeable lantern in case of a power outage. Perfect condo for a family or, in our case, two couples travelling together. Other things to note: the shower in each bathroom had large dispensers of shampoo, conditioner, and soap. Hand soap dispensers at all sinks, blow dryer in each bathroom, coffee maker was dual purpose (12 cup pot or single cup), dishwasher and dish soap included, lots of tea towels, dishes, drinking glasses, cutlery, pots, pans, baking sheets, and kitchen gadgets. There’s also a few basic spices and condiments. Would definitely book this condo again! Many thanks to the owners. Aloha!!

What a great property. Everything was well maintained and clean. The condo has much more than anticipated. My 3 preteen/teens made use of all the beach gear. It was a home away from home with the well appointed kitchen and amenities. There was clear communication from the owner and property manager. Location was perfect being on walkout level to the pool/bbq’s and could easily pull the wagon filled with beach gear straight out the lanai to the beach. I highly recommend you choose this condo.

Really nice place

This place was great for a three generation trip. Each family was able to have privacy and yet interact. The facilities were great and the beach was a short walk away.

From booking to check out, it was a flawless process. Upon entering the condo, it was very clean, organized and had everything we needed to have a successful and carefree vacation. It was very close to the pool for our nighttime swims and walking distance to the beach and restaurants. You don't have to worry about renting any snorkel hear as they have so many options as well as beach chairs and umbrella. We highly recommend staying here and we will be coming back soon!

Jamie and Lori have a fantastic location in Kihei at the Maui Banyan. The condo was well equipped with everything you needed to prepare and save meals as well as beach towels, chairs, etc. Perfect place to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary with family. Staying in Kihei was great to explore the Waikulu Distillery, horseback ride at Tripple L Ranch, ear at Kula Lodge, hike the waihee ridge trail, or just take in sunsets at our favorite beach by the Mana Kai.

Tropical condo

We really enjoyed the Tropical Maui condo on the Maui Banyon property. Clean, nicely furnished with good kitchen appliances. Lovely access to the grounds and pool.

We are Jamie & Lori Lawrence, and we are so pleased that you are here on our site. Jamie was born and raised on Maui and is a local entertainer. He's also a former US Army helicopter pilot and local helicopter tour/rescue pilot. Lori was born in the tiny Iowa town of Klemme (15 students in her high school graduating class), and later moved to Des Moines, where she worked as a school teacher for 16 years until she moved to Maui in 2004. Together we own and operate Tropical Maui Weddings (TMAUI•COM) and have been helping wedding couples plan their ultimate destination weddings on the island since 2005. We have extensive knowledge of this island and it's resources, and can assist you, our guests, with whatever you may need. We live right here on Maui and we're always available to assist or answer any questions. We want to make your stay at Tropical Maui Condo a most memorable one. We know that once you stay with us, you'll be back! We look forward to having you as our guests.

After some extensive research, we decided on a vacation rental property at the Maui Banyan. We liked the close proximity to the many amenities available such as some of our favorite restaurants, the beautiful Kamaole beaches, activities, and of course the tennis courts, pools, hot tubs, and barbecue facilities available right on the property. This area of the island tends to enjoy nicer weather year round, and the trade winds which can sometimes blow pretty hard, are much calmer. Having covered parking available was also a big plus for us keeping our cars cooler on hot days. The condition of our unit was what ultimately sealed our decision to own it. The recent complete renovation which included granite countertops, upscale cabinets, tasteful artwork, etc., made Q107 stand out from the rest. It is truly a deluxe unit.

We enjoy beach walks at sunset, cool dips in the pool or the ocean on warm days, warming up in the hot tub on cooler nights, barbecuing poolside with friends, a romantic dinner at Cafe O'Lei. It's a place to really unwind and relax!
