HundredAkre Wood Cabin~2 King beds~River View~Sauna

Welcome to the Hundred Akre Wood Cabin (Actually 16acres of private land for use). This magnificent newly constructed cabin features 16 wooded, private acres with hundreds of feet of Michigammae River frontage. It is the perfect destination to enjoy all that the UP woods has to offer along with the comforts and modern amenities of a relaxing vacation.
The cabin features Smart TV’s in each bedroom, a stone fireplace in the living room and a 85” QLED in the family room for incredible movie nights.
Hundred Akre Woods Cabin is your Upper MI cabin get-away. Newly constructed in ‘23-‘24, you will find the cabin to be modern yet unique and full of customized decor.

MAIN LEVEL:
As you enter the cabin with your unique code, ensuring your security, you will be greeted by a spacious floor to ceiling stone fireplace. This open concept area has two recliners and one couch to relax in front of the woodburning fireplace. A beautiful custom made Brazilian Chestnut table seats 10 with additional seating on 4 handcrafted barrel stools around the granite island. Your kitchen is filled with modern amenities like a dishwasher, microwave, air fryer, 4-slice toaster, gas, stove, and refrigerator. It features beautiful granite countertops. The stocked coffee bar is a perfect place to start your day with ground and coffees supplied. You will find plenty of dishware, pots and pans, bakeware, and utensils to ensure you have what you need to cook meals. Feel free to inquire on any specific kitchen questions.

MAIN LEVEL BEDROOM AND BATH:
As you enter the main floor bedroom, you will find a king sized bed. This bedroom contains a dresser. 50 inch smart TV, and desk fan. The sconce lighting on each side of the bed gives the room added warmth and ambience. You will find USB outlets on both sides of the bed along with a white noise machine.
Located next to this bedroom, you will find a full bath, that features two vessel sinks and tiled tub/ shower combo.

MASTER EN-SUITE:
Ascending the staircase, past Bartell lantern style sconces, you will enter the master en suite, which also features a king bed, 50 inch smart TV, dresser, desk fan, and attached bathroom.
This bathroom features a beautiful black freestanding tub with views of the woods as you soak. A separate tiled shower ensures guests have option of a shower or bath.

LOWER LEVEL:
As you enter family room downstairs, you will find a space for everyone to hang out. The main feature being a Samsung Neo QLED 85” TV with surround sound (Sonos Arc with mini sub) for incredible movie viewing. This smart TV, and all the TVs in the home are loaded with Disney+, Hulu, Prime, and YouTube TV. You will find an electric fireplace for added warmth and a large sectional couch. The space features a foosball table, Air-Hockey table & arcade style game.
LOWER LEVEL BEDROOM:
The lower level bedroom features enough space to sleep 8. All beds are custom log beds with one being a stand alone queen, and two bunkbeds. Bunkbeds are full-size over queen sized. A dresser, 55 inch smart TV, portable fan, and toys for the little ones can all be found in this room.

PATIO:
As you walk out of the sliding glass patio doors, you will find a deck space outside with patio furniture, Oklahoma smoker/ grill, and a Blackstone flat iron grill. Fire pit with seating around it makes for great evening bonfires. 2 patio fans are mounted to create a light breeze to help keep those flying insects at bay.
OUTDOOR SAUNA: You’ll find a brand cedar sauna, heated by electric steam over coals. Easily seats 6
YARD:
You will find a grassy area for outside activities and a large wide path that takes you down to the river. Enjoy swimming in the river at your own risk, as the river is moving and varies in depth from 2 feet to 10 feet In the areas immediately adjacent to the river frontage. We offer 4 kayaks, available for use after a signed waiver is complete complete. You will also find cornhole boards, yard darts, and ladder toss yard games.

ADDITIONAL PARKING:
The property can easily fit extra trailers for your UTV’s, snowmobiles and boats. There is also a few locations on the property where camping and or an RV could be parked for an additional fee. Please contact host for more information when bringing an RV.

KAYAKS:
The Michigamme River is a wonderful river to kayak down. 4 kayaks are available for use and will require a signed waiver before using.

WIFI:
Although cell reception can be spotty depending on carrier and location on property, we offer Starlink internet at an incredibly fast and reliable internet.

WILDLIFE:
The property is remote and heavily, wooded, therefore presenting a higher possibility of a wildlife encounter. It is common for deer, snakes, moose, blackbear, skunks, and other wildlife common to UP to pass thru the perimeters of the property. Please do not approach, but instead enjoy sightings from a distance. Do not leave food outside as it will attract unwanted pests.
Insects and other pests are common in wildlife, and no refunds will be given for bothersome insects.

CLEANING:
We take cleaning before guest visits very seriously and all touchable surfaces are disinfected before guests arrive. All bathroom floor rugs, toss pillows, and all beddings, including mattress pads are machine washed on high temp with scent-free detergent after each guest checkout. Floors are steam cleaned to avoid heavy-fragrant cleaning smells. Cleaning supplies are left for guests use if needed. Additional cleaning information can be provided when requested.
