SUITE STUDiO

Welcome to my stunning secluded studio suite in the heart of Old Mandeville--steps to shopping, dining, the Trailhead and the beautiful Lakefront.
The studio shared the property with the main house and you have a completely private deck. The pool is only used by you and your registered guest during your stay.
Explore the local neighborhood where oak trees drape the town among charming historic homes. Numerous restaurants, pubs, coffee and gift shops are easily within walking or biking distance.

New Orleans French Quarter, Audubon Zoo, Aquariums of the America, The National WWII Museum, even Jazz Fest and Mardi Gras are less than 45 minutes away!!

In the Spring and Fall, concerts at the Trailhead and the famous Dew Drop Inn are nearby. There are sling chairs for you to take to the concerts or a lakefront picnic!

Two bikes are available for you to explore the area and take on the Tammany Trace Bike Trail, which is right down the street. It is originally a corridor for the Illinois Central Railroad and is now Louisiana's first rail-trail from Downtown Covington to Slidell.

When you are ready to relax, enjoy the comfort of your cozy quiet studio with your own private deck. The deck has a grill and an outside shower-just for you-and steps away from a beautiful garden pool!

After you book your reservation, you will receive an email with all the details of your stay. If you have any questions at that time, I will be sure that you have all the information you will need on arrival.

The place was perfect for a hot August celebration. Restaurants and points of interest were in walking distance. And of course the pool was a treat. We stayed four nights and had everything we needed including a bowl of chocolates. Definitely will stay here again.

This was our second time staying at this property. The home is cozy and perfect for a weekend getaway. There are lots of restaurants and places to hangout within walking distance. We enjoyed our stay.

The host was very responsive and helpful when I had questions before and during our stay. The place was super cute and perfect as described in the listing. All the amenities you could need and more were available. There is a really nice pool that we could use but it was too cold during our stay!

Wonderful retreat!

This cozy suite provided such a retreat at the end of some long days. It is decorated so cute with all the lavender touches and was well supplied with anything you might need. The pool was fantastic and relaxing! Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Look forward to staying here again when we’re back in the area.

Location!! A perfect love nest for a get away. Easy walk to restaurants, coffee house and Lakeshore. Host Cathy is warm and welcoming. Cottage decor is tasteful and homey. I wanted to move in! Pool looked inviting and the back private patio very serene for morning coffee or happy hour! We will be back!!

Nice Getaway

The property was a nice oasis right around the corner from the quaint downtown Mandeville! We were able to enjoy peace and quiet and just be moments from food and entertainment. We will be back!

Suite Studio is SO sweet!!!

We enjoyed the Tammany bike trail, great restaurants, the refreshing pool, outdoor patio, and the cutest, most comfortable studio!!! Cathy was a great host and made sure to have all the comforts of home!!

Weekend Getaway

My husband and I needed a weekend getaway not too far away. The Studio Suite was excellent and had all of the comfortable amenities that we needed. It is in an amazing location to everything you could possibly want to do. We were able to ride bikes to everything.

Perfect Location — Every Amenity You Need!

My sister and I absolutely loved our stay. The studio is so well decorated, it’s warm and inviting. Host Cathy has thought of everything, from the stocked kitchenette to the bath products and cozy snuggle blankets. Old Mandeville is one of our favorite locations for a relaxing getaway. I highly recommend!

Perfect and relaxing

Perfect anniversary getaway—cozy suite with private pool, bikes, and the best location near restaurants, the lake, and local charm! Will definitely return. Want me to also give you a couple of alternate punchy versions so you can pick your favorite?

My spouse and I were celebrating our 33rd anniversary The accommodations for this stay and the hostess certainly iced the cake. We wanted for nothing. The cottage is very clean, located in a perfect location and the pool area is an oasis.We will go back.

Deceiving

It’s 15 feet from a house that the owner lives in and they were there. The pool is not private. It is also almost at the back door of their home. If you like a sort of communal stay this place is for you. If you want any privacy at all I would not recommend it.

Excellent host

Cathy was an excellent host. From the minute we walked into the studio, she was attentive and helpful. The space was perfectly curated, and she even had items that I found myself needing, but have never seen at any previous property, such as a steamer and a lint roller. While we did have a plumbing issue, Cathy jumped in immediately to assist, and she took care of us completely. Even with the plumbing issue, this property was immaculate and I would 100% stay here again.

Beyond expectation

Let me begin by saying our hostess Cathy thought of everything! The studio is compact but absolutely adorable and the accommodations were perfect. I am pleased to say that the studio is pristine as I am particular when it comes to cleanliness. Both indoor and outdoor spaces are lovely. We did not use the pool but it was a beautiful peaceful oasis that welcomed us the moment we entered the gate. I especially appreciated the very comfortable mattress and pillows at the end of each day. Thank you Cathy for the care you put into this lovely studio. We look forward to the next time.
