The main space combines the seating for socializing and reflecting with the inside dining adjacent to the galley kitchen. The covered patio area extends the living outdoors with more eating and sitting that looks up the beautiful rural hillside. Spacious king and queen bedrooms with a full bath provide the personal retreat and recovery from the activities of the day.

Fabulous rural location. Beautiful open farm lands. The cottage was spacious and inviting. Clean and well equipped. Our host was easy to reach and helpful. We were there to explore the Laurel Highlands and are location was perfect! Will hope to return soon.

Cottage is in a rural setting, but close to National Pike, so easily accessible to key local attractions. Cottage was clean and comfortable with all necessary items. Enjoyed the privacy.

The cottage is immaculate and the location to Ohiopyle is very convenient. Communicate with hosts was quick and Kris is accommodating. I highly recommend!

Our hosts provided the perfect retreat for our short stay, with easy access to the recreation we were seeking. The cottage was very clean and nicely appointed, with an airy design and tasteful decor. The large enclosed porch invited coffee in the morning and an evening sit with a glass of wine.

Surprised at the location so close to the 381, but slow to no traffic after 9 pm. Comfortable, clean, nice rooms and plenty to do in the area. Ohiopyle, Park and Town were very ez to see and enjoy. Braddocks was a nice restaurant with a nice pulled pork and fries at a fair price Hiked to the top of the hill to the West and watched the sunset. No shampoo or rinse we could find, but we travel with some, so no big deal. Nice Place to stay and the host Kris brought yellow tomatoes and gave us a quick tutorial on the areas high points. Much Appreciated..5 stars

Perfect cottage retreat in Farmington

Les and Kris know exactly how the Wheelers like to travel! The little 2bdrm cottage was perfectly-sized, extremely well-appointed, spic and span clean, and stocked with plenty of treats and accessories. The tenovations to this cabin were perfect, the design and decor was simple and clean and the setting was idyllic. Attention from the owners and caretakers was easy and prompt. Thank you for making our stay away from home everything we needed it to be!

Great place for rest and peace

It was a nice peaceful stay in quiet PA. We needed the rest. We highly recommend. Kris and Les were very quick to provide everything we needed.

Enjoyed Our Stay

This property was perfect for us. It was out of town in a more rural area that we prefer but still very close to all that we needed and/or wanted to do. The house was very clean and communication with the owner was excellent. We would like to stay here again when visiting the area in the future.

Awesome cottage

Awesome host and awesome cottage perfect size for what we needed even when we hunted all day and came back to no water the host took care of it in a timely manner and we all got a good laugh but very nice respectable host will definitely be booking again next year plus they usually close up before hand but stayed open a little longer for us

Perfect Spot

The view out the back windows is picture perfect. I had to work briefly before we drove home and I went out on the back patio and people asked if I had a virtual background up! Super clean, super well stocked. Really excellent local advice and communication from the owners, who live just down the road. I really have zero complaints. We had such a good stay. This was the second time that I've been to the Laurel Highlands in the last couple of years and I'd go back again. The parks are great, good food, lots to do.

What a lovely, clean little cottage. Was the perfect location for the wedding I was attending! The house has been remodeled and is adorable. The owners truly thought of rverything from coffee pods to extra soap. I will definitely be back!

Amazing Property

This was a great property to stay at. Me and my girlfriend took a weekend getaway trip up to the Farmington area and this property was incredible. The hosts thought of everything including tinfoil, extra soap in the bathroom, and even board games. they really made us feel at Home. 10 out of 10 recommend checking up this property if you have the opportunity.

We had a fantastic stay at Les’s cottage. It’s a cozy spot with plenty of shaded outdoor space to relax. We spent a lot of time just relaxing on the covered deck. The cottage is newly renovated and has everything you’d want for a comfortable stay. Even the beds were comfortable which is not usually the case in most hotels I visit. Les is a wonderful and knowledgeable host. I can easily recommend a stay here, and I hope to return soon myself.

Cozy cottage and good location

Recently updated, good layout of kitchen and living room, comfortable beds in two bedrooms, one bathroom with tub/shower combo. Great location near Ohiopyle, Fallingwater, and Fort Necessity. Bit of a musty smell which did not bother me at all, but did bother my daughter who is very sensitive to such things. I would stay here again.
