tahiti-bungalow: a fully equipped beach house, in Teahupoo, facing the calm lagoon in front of you protected by the the coral barrier where you see breaking its famous wave from home, its made of two bungalows, 1 mezzanine and 1 large deck in T.
With its mini pool, floating dock, a little after the end of the road, the guarantee of a quiet and tranquil stay full of adventures on the sea side, as on the mountain side: coral gardens and sandbanks, sliding or wind sports, beautiful hikes, lazing around...
Ideal for families, hikers, lovers, athletes...
The space:
tahiti-bungalow is an eco-house by the sea, made of two wooden bungalows and recycled materials, designed for maximum ventilation depending on its location:
A bungalow with two interconnecting bedrooms, one facing the lagoon, the other with two double beds that can be converted into 4 singles.
A large covered wooden deck, with seating area, blinds, several tables and chairs, connects the 2 bungalows.
The other bungalow includes kitchen/living room and bathroom and has a floor/mezzanine including a double bed ( convertible into two single beds) and a single bed as well as a terrace with sea views.
Your floating dock with its barbecue floats in front of your eyes, the white sandban and the famous wave are also before your eyes!
Velos, kayak and stand up paddleboarding are included in the rental.
Guest access:
The entire property is yours exclusively as well as the mini pool, the floating dock, bikes, 2-seater kayaking, stand up paddles, hammocks, outdoor games, barbecue, ecological anchor...

Many activities from tahiti-bungalow: boat trips to discover the coastline of the fenua aihere and the Pari, hikes in valleys and peaks for all levels, snorkeling courses, tour of a pearl farm, diving club, bike ride, walks on the lagoon on stand up paddle or kayaking, jet skiing, whale watching in season, dolphins in the berries or surfers at the Hava 'e pass on the days of swells, fishing in all kinds, river baths, sliding sports in the lagoon and the pass for the best: surfs, windsurf, kite, wing, downwind ... The property was even more beautiful than the photos! We loved listening to the waves as we were going to sleep and opening our eyes to the ocean that's a very short distance away. What a treat!The way the house was built, kept it cool during the day so the temperatures were very comfortable during our entire stay. The spacious porch facing the lagoon provided beautiful views and plenty of outdoor dining. The house was well stocked with spices, coffee and oil, which was very helpful. The hosts were great. They are the most gracious and accommodating owners we've encountered on VRBO. The coconut they prepared and provided was much appreciated as well as the delicious honey from their own bee hives. They provided a lot of helpful information about the surrounding area for hiking, biking and water sports. We were guided on a beautiful hike that we took directly from the house. We saw two waterfalls, several swimming holes, eels, fish and more! We can't put into words the beauty of these mountains. We also kayaked in the tandem daily and enjoyed viewing the corals and many brightly colored fish. We highly recommend this rental property and can't wait to return!

we are a family of 4 , with 2 boys , living in this little paradise since we decided to move from tahiti-nui, the big island, to raise the kids in the nature. Our 2 kids are surfers as their father while mom was a model and tahitian dancer. Both parents are teachers here since more than 25 years ! We will be you neighbours as our house is behind your proprerty !

You have the classic tropical lagoon in front of your house with all its shades of blue and green tropical forest mountains at the back. You enjoy this vision evry second from each place of the house, the pool, the outside bath, your mini beach or playing in the garden.
Also, people aroud are 100% polynesian locals living from fishing and farming mixed with few travelers coming for surfing the famous wave or enjoying the nature !

This place is amazing for several reasons: of course living by the sea at a tropical place is outstanding for surfing, fishing, snorkelling, windsports, the sunset .... but we also enjoy walking in the virgin valleys from home to enjoy the natural pools and waterfalls !
What makes this place special is the fact that is no road for cars because we are 10 minutes after the end of the road ! So its so calm, quiet and tranquil and also so safe for the children who can go walk, ride bikes and have fun evrywhere safely on land and in the sea !
