Dolphin View House #2

This recently renovated one bedroom one bath cottage is only a 10-minute drive to the beaches of St. George Island or a 10-minute drive to the historical Apalachicola. Dolphin House #2 is great for an overnight or weekend stay. Up to 4 guests can be accommodated, with a king bed and queen sleeper sofa. A smart TV is in the living room & wireless internet is available. In the Kitchenette you will find a Keurig coffee maker, microwave, mini fridge and small sink. (This house does NOT have a stove.) A propane grill is just outside the screened in porch. You can grill and enjoy a beautiful water view. This property is located between Dolphin House #1 and Dolphin House #3, all three homes share a driveway.

This was perfect for our 2 night stay. It was clean (including the Keurig) and there were plenty of linens and dishes. The heater worked great, though it’s a different kind of unit with a remote and a quick Google search told us how to set it. No big deal. Check-in/out was easy and straightforward & the keypad was simple and worked without issue. There was plenty of parking room. The location was great, close to restaurants and the forest. Considering the price, location, cleanliness, and ease of finding/accessing the property it was a great stay.

What a perfect little cottage to do all the happy things there are to do at East point, Apalachicola and St George Island! I only hope the places available when we're ready next year!

We were there to visit St George Island. We had a wonderful time. The couch in the home was not comfortable. The king size, however appreciated, was too big for the bedroom. The shower had no area to put a bar of soap or shampoo.

The place was very clean and neat , only thing i would suggest would be made new grill it didnt want to light without using a liter , but it was ok. Everything else was perfect for us.

Over all this property served its purpose. It was clean and well stocked. My only complaints are about the furniture. The bed was waist high and very hard to get in and out of, while the couch was the exact opposite and basically on the ground with almost no fluff to the cushions. Extremely uncomfortable. That being said, if you are traveling with elderly people this may not be the place for you.

Had a great stay. Clean unit, comfortable bed in bedroom and the pull out couch was all the 21 and 23 yr old needed. Great water pressure and nice sized walk in shower. Served it's purpose for what we needed. A place to sleep and get cleaned up in between our days at the the island. Had no issue bringing my small medical Alert service dog. Would definitely recommend.

Dolphin View 2 Does not dissappoint

We love to fish in Aplachicola, but the locations have limited parking (including boats) and the rooms are very expensive. The Dolphin 2 was perfect for our little fishing adventures, clean, inexpensive, boat lauch is close and plenty of parking. We enjoyed our stay and we will be back!

Cozy and Comfortable

This place was awesome, we stayed for 7days. It was very nice, good view of the bay from the dining room. The bed was very comfortable. The house was clean and everything set up for us. There was extra towels, since we were staying so long. The Shower had nice pressure and overall we loved the tiny house vibe! We even booked another stay while there. We visit the area 2-3 times a year and this will be our new place to stay.

Perfect Stay

We had a wonderful stay! The rental was the perfect size for our family of four — comfortable, clean, and exactly as described. Check-in was a breeze, and everything we needed was ready for us when we arrived. The location is fantastic — just a short drive to St. George Island with its stunning beaches. All of the appliances worked great, which made our stay easy and stress-free. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway near the coast!

Mother/Daughter Trip

The rental was very clean and updated. The sleeper sofa was a little uncomfortable for my daughter but other than that the place was perfect. Parts of the nearby neighborhood seems a little rundown and the road out front can get a little noisy but we didn't have any issues and felt safe where we were at. The location across from the gulf was great. We would definitely stay there again.

Peaceful

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was perfect for our anniversary getaway. I would suggest getting the ignitor fixed on the gas grill though. My husband had to use a lighter to get it lit.

House was very clean but sofa was worn out. It was very uncomfortable. You needed a long mirror attached to back of bedroom door. There was only 1 mirror in whole house. Bed slept great!

Excellent Place

This place was exactly what we needed for a wedding we were attending in Apalachicola. It was a short drive to the venue and was perfect for our family of 4.
