Great getaway

Amazing Property

We stayed four nights during the 4th. My family and myself were VERY pleased with this property. Everything was clean, organized, and up to date. The decoration around the property and the cabins will whisk you away to a tranquil destination. Jamey is very sweet and very friendly. She explains everything and gives great tips about the area. I will rebook this property the next time I visit Holden beach. The beach is close and so are the stores. Everything is a short drive away. We are highly pleased with this property and everything it had to offer us….until next time!!

Wonderful Place to Stay

We love this place, and have come multiple times the past year. It feels like it’s your own colorful and quaint tiki oasis near Holden beach. Exceptionally clean, cabins are well equipped and maintained with everything you need from spices, pans, coffee, and an amazing outdoor covered grill that could feed 10 people.We love the outside private porch area with table for dining. Comfortable beds, and friendly property managers that treat you like family

Perfect hidden secret

Out of all the places we have stayed this property is very unique and was exactly how it was described and reminds me of villas I have stayed at in Costa Rica with the vibrant colors, feel and peacefulness, really makes you feel like you are in another country. The firepit was great touch, even the heated outdoor shower had shampoo, conditioner and body wash which was the same as the inside one. The property has a great of personality! Definitely coming back!

Wonderful

The property is secluded, quiet, very laid back and clean. The property owners are on-site and they are amazing host. They meet you, make sure you have everything you need, they enjoy relaxation just as much as you and will sit around the campfire just to interact and makes friends with people. The cabin was the perfect size for 4 adults for two nights. They provide everything you could think from the towels inside to beach towels to the beach chairs also a two sided propane grill. Very close to the beach and close to grocery stores and souvenir shops and the best ice cream shop (beaches and cream). Will definitely be going back again next year for a longer visit and maybe again in the winter months. Very homey friendly place!

I loved my stay at the Tortuga!

I didn’t want to leave. Cozy, thoughtful and the perfect amount of privacy with opportunities to engage if you choose. I feel so lucky to have found this place available because it ended up being a fabulous experience. I have no complaints. I was traveling alone and meeting my business partner nearby and felt totally safe in this space alone. I’ll be back for sure, hopefully sooner than later.

Hidden Gem and Tropical Paradise near the Beach

This is a rustic, newly built, beautiful and charming arbnb virtually 5 min from Holden Beach. At a tad under 500 sq feet, this space, has a delightful loft , a futon in the living room and a very comfortable queen bed in the bedroom. The lovely and friendly hosts have put so much effort into creating the perfect getaway. From the wonderful outside shower and awesome oversized shower head with hot water and the delightful liquid bath soap to the wonderful kitchen with the beautiful wood counters. There are great pots, pans , dishes and appliances at your disposal as was well as a charming enclosed patio with paper lanterns where you can actually grill every night. Just too many lovely amenities to list. They did not forget a thing! Oh yes, the delish Costarican coffee, was in a glass canister on the counter of the kitchen for your morning delight. We enjoyed both Castaways and Provision for dinners nearby. Loved eating outside and had great crab cakes , shrimp and salads there. The beach was so close by, with white , clean sand. Lovely. Not many people , so we loved it. Really can’t express how fortunate we felt staying in this truly artistic and warm new space. Was pristine! You will definitely be surprised and happy if you book this arbnb.Wonderful communication with both hosts a lovely husband and wife team.

Great cabin getaway!

This was such a great cabin - well maintained and perfect for our family of four. The owners are in a house behind the cabin and are very friendly and helpful. The only thing that would have made it better would have been a bit more privacy. Between the owners' house and the other cabin, it is rather close quarters. Having said that, we would recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting the area.

A breath of fresh air

The host and hostess were very welcoming, and followed up to make sure we had everything we needed. Upon first arrival, we found several special extra touches that made us feel at home. The waterfall shower was beautiful and therapeutic… the woodworking in the counters and cabinets was breath taking.

Fantastic Last Minute Beach Getaway

My 2 boys and I decided on a last minute trip to Holden Beach and this place was perfect with respect to location, cost, amenities, etc. The hosts Jeremy and Jamey were excellent and ensured we had everything we needed. Conveniently located and about a 5 minute drive to the beach, walking distance to a Food Lion and several local restaurants and ice cream. My boys loved the loft and the fire pit which was stocked with an ample supply of wood. The place was well stocked with everything you would need and the outside grill/griddle was great for everything from breakfast to dinner. Definitely will be returning on a future trip.

Wonderful Adventure

I needed a getaway from people and escape from the world. Moorhead Hideout is exactly wut I needed on my girl trip getaway. The owners were awesome host and absolutely a delight to be around. I definitely recommend this place for ur stay 10/10. AND omg the towels and bedding smelt absolutely amazing. So fresh and soothing. We met as strangers but left definitely as friends. I will never stay ne where else but here. Im definitely in love with this place. 💯 recommend if you ever go to Holden Beach. I will stay again very soon.

Wonderful!

I stayed here with my husband and son for a long weekend getaway and we had the best time the cabin is adorable, the environment is such a vibe, and the place is SO clean and well kept. Jeremy and Jamey were great hosts- always prompt to help or accommodate where they could but also respected your privacy. Super quick drive to Holden Beach as well. We will be staying with them again!

Hidden Oasis

Wow! The owners have created an oasis in the middle an unsuspecting area. Upon entering the driveway, the property exuded calm and relaxation. The home was clean, neat, and even the smallest detail was noted. My daughter said that her favorite part was s’mores by the inviting fire pit and my son said his was the loft bed. My husband and I both loved the private, natural feel of the property, although it is only minutes from town and the beach.

What an awesome time!

My wife and I planned a weekend away, and it wasn’t too far from home. When we arrived we were greeted by the owners. Amazing people, showed us the whole house, and the property that was included. The house was so clean and everything was brand new! Very relaxing, and was very comfortable. I’m so glad we found this gem in the perfect location! Close to the beach, places to eat, and grocery store if you needed it! We will DEFINITELY be back!!! AND The owner knew about my birthday and brought us cupcakes to us! The owners were very helpful and answered any questions we had. Beautiful details and the fire pit hangout was amazing!! Thank you again!!
