If you’re looking for a beautiful, peaceful, dog friendly escape among the trees and wildlife, this is the place. It is exactly as described and the host has literally thought of everything.

Paws in the Pines is a great cabin in beautiful Teller county. There is so much nature to enjoy nearby. Views of fall colors abounded during our stay in early October. Jody is an excellent host. The cabin is filled to the brim with thoughtful touches (including a welcome book with excellent activity and food suggestions), and has a nicely appointed kitchen. We really enjoyed our stay.

This was our third time staying at this cabin, and we had a great time as always. Extremely dog friendly, and very peaceful. The owners have truly thought of everything a person might need while there. We will be back!

Bar none. This place is awesome. Extremely clean, easy access, great for pups. Jody and Dwight go above and beyond with providing every amenity you can think of. Special snacks, chocolates, a variety of teas, welcome bag for you pups, you name it, it is there. We will definitely be back. Paws in the Pines — What a Great Place to Stay!Paws in the Pines is a wonderful place to stay! Jody is an amazing host who goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The house is fully stocked with snacks and dog treats, and everything is clearly labeled, so you never have to guess where anything is.The house is super clean, cozy, and nestled in the beautiful mountains. We brought our three dogs, and Jody thoughtfully provided dog beds and bowls for them to use during our stay. There’s also a nice fenced-in area where the dogs can safely enjoy some outdoor time.Thank you, Jody, for a wonderful stay! We would absolutely recommend Paws in the Pines to anyone looking for a cozy, dog-friendly mountain getaway!

We came back for the second time and this place did not disappoint! Very clean and comfortable cabin, Jodie’s attention to detail is superb. We had a great stay with no issues. The kitchen is well equipped, there is enough paper products, clean towels and blankets, rugs for your dog or a quick clean up. Location is great too- surrounded by mature trees, quiet and peaceful; a quick drive to Woodlawn Park too. And they allow dogs This is a gem!

We all had such a nice stay at Paws in the Pines. Sooo peaceful and beautiful. Hosts have thought of everything! Our two pups felt right at home as well. I hope we can stay here again!

Paws in the Pines was a perfect retreat for us over Thanksgiving week. The owners are very attentive to every possible need for their visitors. They communicated well in advance and during our stay. I would highly recommend the cabin for anyone looking for a getaway in the area.

This is by far a “cut above” other cabins! It is exactly as described, has everything that you could possibly need. Very clean, very comfortable cabin, the coffee bar and snack baskets, amazing. The back and front decks, beautiful, dog run, game changer, I could go on and on. The host even had dog beds, bowls, blankets and toys set out for our pups! Jody is very responsive and gave us many dog friendly hiking suggestions. Such a peaceful location, perfect for getting away from it all. We will be back.

We had the most relaxing time in this cabin! The hosts truly thought of everything. The cabin was beautiful and so clean, the fireplace was so magical and warm, and the area was quiet and peaceful. The stars were so bright at night too! We would definitely stay here again!

This is the second time we have stayed at this cabin, and it was just as wonderful as the first time! It’s so peaceful and secluded, but only a short drive from everything you could need. The hosts left us a lovely bottle of wine and treats for our dogs. They have thought of everything you might need while you are there. The bed is very comfortable and there were plenty of blankets. This is the first time we have ever rebooked the same cabin, so that really says a lot about this location. I highly recommend!
