Thank you for your feedback. We take guest concerns seriously and want to provide some clarification for future guests. A few days before check-in, you contacted us requesting to cancel part of your stay. As the reservation was already within the cancellation window outlined in the booking policy, we explained that a partial refund would not be available. We understand that this was disappointing. The home had been professionally cleaned and turned over the afternoon of your arrival. When you contacted us with concerns, we responded promptly and arranged for the cleaning company to be at the property within about an hour to address anything that needed attention and to replace the linens as a courtesy. Our cleaning company washes linens offsite, and the sheets from that day’s turnover were still in their vehicle. The area referenced as “black mold” was actually an exterior hose bib with minor outdoor mildew, which can occasionally occur in Florida’s humid climate and was outside the home. We also communicated with VRBO several times during their review. After reviewing the situation, they did not find evidence supporting the claims about the condition of the property. Our goal is always to provide a clean, comfortable stay and to respond quickly if a guest needs assistance.
