Our properties at 'The Woodlands at Hocking Hills' have been our answer to serenity, slowing down time, and intentionally engaging and enjoying each other's company. We hope it will be a space that inspires you to do the same!

Magnolia Grove Lodge is located right next door and accommodates up to 20 guests, making it a perfect option to rent together for larger gatherings. For those seeking a smaller, cozier option, explore our sister property, The Woodlands at Hocking Hills-Notestone Cabin.

Hocking County is a very rural county with curvy and hilly roads that require cautious driving. The roads leading to the lodge are paved two-lane highways along with 1 ½ lane gravel scenic roads that may require a 4-wheel drive during inclement weather or any significant snowfall. There are no refunds due to inclement weather.

Part of the Woodland Lodge driveway is paved to make coming and going a little easier for guests.

Great location; property is 10 minutes from hiking, fishing, shopping, and dining. Something for everyone to do. Nice, large kitchen and eating areas for large groups. Property itself doesn't have much outdoor, level playing area, but that is really not needed with all that is offered in the area.

We had three families of 4, each with 2 young kids. The kids loved their sleeping space, the movie room, hot tub, game room, and property! Close enough to hiking and food and a great space to relax.

This was the most comfortable VRBO I’ve ever stayed in! Our group loved every part of the house! The house was so clean, updated, it had space for everyone and we all LOVED the game room! The host was easy to get in touch with, and she helped us with everything including finding someone to fix our car while we were there :-) hopefully we will be back!

Our family met here for the end of one college spring break to the beginnings of a high school spring break. We celebrated several birthdays also. The house was perfect for us. We liked every detail. Great kitchen and the game room was a highlight! It is close to the trails and caves and not far from stores if needed. We experienced summer and winter weather which is always a treat in Ohio! We did experience WiFi troubles but it was because of very high winds. As the grandma in this situation I secretly liked not having it! Thanks for making our stay cozy!

The home was more than what the pictures could show. The den area made it nice for hanging out with everyone, play games, and watching both football games on the double TV's. I would recommend this home to anyone.

We had the most wonderful time at The Woodlands! I left a nice review on Google, but want to let everyone here know that this house offers a crazy amount of amenities that is sure to please a wide variety of interests. There were 6 of us and we found thus home to be spacious and comfortable, providing everything we needed for our stay. The game room was a blast and the firepit was a wonderful bonus at the end of busy days. Communication with the owners was easy peasy and always pleasant. I would recommend this home for a short-term or a long-term stay;)

This Cabin was the perfect fit for our Family. It is located close to hiking trails and is close to town for grocery shopping, putt-putt golf, canoeing and trips for ice cream!! The Cabin is clean and has great resources to be a home away from home while on vacation.

Wonderful Stay

This house has it all! Our group of 19 had a wonderful time and there is plenty of space in the house and outdoors. I highly recommend Woodland Lodge!

This was a family vacation for 10 of us and it was incredible! The house was a dream, with everything exactly as described. We were able to take advantage of some of the local attractions while still having plenty of time to enjoy playing games in the game room, soak in the hot tub, play board games and just sit around and visit. Our kids (age 7 through 15) were never bored and adults had plenty of talk time, too. It was a great stay! Thank you!

ABSOLUTELY an amazing time in Hocking Hills hiking, zip lining and spending time at the Woodland Lodge. Lots of FUN things to do and a beautiful home/space! We LOVE going here and highly recommend it. The owners are also the BEST!!!

Perfect place to stay!

LOVED this cabin! It has plenty of space and makes entertaining large groups easy. From the game room to the hot tub, multiple fire pits and a hot tub. Plenty of space and was perfect for what we wanted. It was clean and had everything we needed. Host was very communicative.

Best time!

We room our Daisy/Brownie Girl Scout troop to the cabin for a weekend getaway filled with activities, everyone loved the house and had a blast! Our hosts couldn't have been more accommodating!
