Hidden at the outskirts of the charming town of Gig Harbor, this spacious three bedroom A-frame offers a cozy and inviting retreat for your next vacation. Take just one step to access the main floor where you'll be greeted by a fully stocked kitchen, complete with a stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, and all the necessary appliances and utensils to prepare delicious meals. Unwind in the living room, where you can enjoy the warmth of the fireplace or catch up on your favorite shows on the smart TV in the loft. Take advantage of the free WiFi to stay connected, or take a relaxing stroll along the water's edge, where you can lounge on the reclining outdoor chairs and soak up the stunning views. When it's time to retire for the night, you'll find two bathrooms, plenty of towels, and comfortable linens to ensure a restful sleep. For families, the cabin also features a baby gate and a travel crib, as well as games for the kids to enjoy. (Note that the yard is not fenced). Whether you're looking to escape the hustle and bustle or simply spend quality time with loved ones, this charming cabin in Gig Harbor is the perfect destination. We had a wonderful stay! The property was extremely clean and well-maintained, which made us feel comfortable right away. The A-Frame was located in a perfect setting and was a perfect place to stay after very busy days attending a funeral and burial services in the area. We enjoyed being out on the deck watching the ducks swim around, eagles swoop down trying to take fish from a fisherman in his boat and seeing fish jump out of the lake and hearing the frogs at night. The owner kept in contact with us before, during and after our stay.

Perfect size and location, great views, great fireplace feature, comfy rooms, was entertained with an escape room game as a bonus, and getting in and out was with ease. We will be back during the summer and when we visit relatives.

Wonderful Stay!We had a great time at this cozy house! The location is amazing — the lake is right outside the back door with a beautiful view, and there are so many gorgeous hiking trails nearby. The home itself was comfortable and welcoming, perfect for relaxing after a day outdoors. The host was kind, very responsive, and provided clear instructions that made everything easy. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again!

This place was amazing! super close to the lake and the views were just awesome. The house was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. I really loved the room on top . The cabin style is just beautiful, makes the whole stay feel special. Me and my family really enjoyed our time here, definetly coming back again!

Loved this rustic cabin with a gorgeous view of Lake Stansberry. It was just the tranquil retreat we needed. Marian was an amazing host. The simplest VRBO checkin experience yet.

Peaceful weekend retreat

Wonderful place

Overall the stay was nice, I was surprised it was so far back into the gated community but so nice and quiet once we got there. The view was incredible i just wish the weather had been nicer so we could be oitside more!

Lakeside Retreat

Family Time by the Lake

We loved the space and layout of this house. Enough room to spread out, and large windows for the rainy days when staying in still felt connected to the lake right off the deck!This was our first time visiting our family in the area, proximity was great, directions were spot on. We all voted that we would choose it again, next visit. Thanks for the perfect spot.

Wonderful home away from home

The home was so welcoming and cozy - nicely furnished and with really comfortable bedding. The check in process and information about the house was clearly outlined, it was easy to find and get to. The house is in such a quiet and peaceful neighborhood, our kids even slept in for once! The house was exceptionally clean, too. We would definitely stay here again!

Clean and comfortable A frame

This property is very clean and comfortable, tucked into a quiet end of the community, and has a great view of the lake. Owner provided clear instructions for check in and check out. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely wonderful!!!!

We totally enjoyed our stay, the location was so peaceful, we sat on the deck and visited. The kitchen was well stocked. The beds were really comfortable. I could rave about every room and everything about it. We spent one day in the charming town of Gig Harbor (about 30 minutes away) and another at Point Defiance (also about 30 minutes away.) All on all we highly recommend this property.

Family Reunion

We arrived early and no issues except door code I called owner and she quickly corrected issue. The property has a wonderful view of a small lake, and it was very pleasing. The bedrooms were comfortable, and we all slept well. If I was to come back, I would stay here again. Property has all new appliances and plenty of cookware.

Fell a little short for the price

The house is beautiful and was very clean. The set up was awkward with no furniture facing the water to enjoy the view. There were two chairs on the deck but if you sat in them the railing blocked your view of the water. There were no camp chairs or any seating in the yard or down by the water where you could enjoy the view (so bring your own). The description stated that there is a dock for use but it was not in the water so we were not able to use it . There is a large deck but no bbq ( which seems kind of standard for a lake house).

Beautiful and clean cabin

We had a great stay at this beautiful cabin. Of the many places we have stayed in the area this was by far the cleanest interior and furnishing were so wonderful. Beds are so comfortable. When you are in cabin and looking out to the lake, it is just tranquil. It is in a gated community which is nice just be aware it is not super secluded but no one looks directly in to the cabin. The kitchen could use more daily use items and some plastic kids plates and cups. It has the basics but it is not well stocked with kitchen supplies so bring with you what you really need in the kitchen to cook and bake.I would recommend a couple more bathroom items like Kleenex. The cabin is clean and not cluttered which made it very relaxing. Bring what is essential to you like books, games, magazines and you will have a great time.
