A hidden gem tucked away in the outskirts of Ohio’s first capitol, Chillicothe.
This modern farm cabin is the perfect getaway from all the hustle and bustle of life!
We are also conveniently located just three minutes from the city’s center. Here you can enjoy an abundance of local eateries, breweries and shopping.
This is a cabin getaway with a genuine farm vibe. Here you will often spot our cows and horses grazing peacefully in their pastures and you will be warmly welcomed into our original Hirsch Farm Market store, where you can browse and purchase fresh in season fruits and vegetables. We also boast a fully operational cider house where we create our own fresh cider!
This cabin is 1/2 of a spacious duplex that sleeps 4 comfortably with a queen bed and full bath on the first level and 2 twin beds with a 1/2 bath upstairs. There is plenty of room to add an air mattress if needed.
The functional kitchen includes cookware and serving dishes and opens up to the dining/living room space.
Enjoy the outdoors on the deck or around the fire pit.
Guests can enjoy over 450 acres of our fourth generation farm. Here you can go fishing in our ponds, hiking through our wooded hills, or just go strolling through our beautiful apple orchard.
Nearby you can visit some of Chillicothe's wonderful attractions. Our town is proud to be home of the popular outdoor drama Tecumseh along with the Hopewell Culture National Historic Parks. There are also local canoe/ kayak liveries where you can spend the day floating and enjoying the beautiful scenery of Paint Creek.

What a beautiful spot!!!! We loved the proximity to downtown Chillicothe but really felt the nature. Beautiful clean home, wonderful porch and really loved all the birdsong!! Central location to all the great history in the area!

Excellent experience. The cabin and grounds provided a great way to unwind. Close to the city but really a tranquil setting. Host was great. No hassle check-in and he made sure we were comfortable. The interior was clean and modern. We will be back for sure. Highly recommend.

Wonderful! Stay cabin was absolutely cute and extremely clean. Host was easy to get a hold of when I had a question about clean up and check out. The nearby shops are just a short drive but not so close where you feel like people are on top of you. Can't speak to the pet friendliness of it as we did not bring our fur baby. Would definitely stay here again and again!

Clean and comfortable
We definitely enjoyed our stay this Memorial Day Weekend. We hope to come back next year. The house was perfect and hopefully next year we can rent both sides of the duplex and have my sister in law and family join us!

We enjoyed our stay! We needed to add an extra night and the host was very accommodating, and check in was easy. We happened to be there the weekend of their family farm’s festival which was super fun. The property is beautiful with a very spacious and private outdoor area. We found that the space and kitchen was very bare bones. Beds were not super comfortable but the space was. Overall we enjoyed our stay and recommend this rental.

Gorgeous Property
Our stay consisted of two separate nights passing through going and coming from North Carolina. We wish we could have stayed multiple nights to enjoy the view. The property was very new and clean and included all amenities. The host was very much a host and gave a tour of his property.

A Perfect Stay
Property is very well maintained, clean and perfectly located 5 minutes from town. Host is an excellent communicator. The entrance doors are on opposite ends of the duplex so you neither see nor hear the other guests. We stayed in ‘Horse Pen’ which had a nice yard for our dog. The unit was immaculate.

There was a Keurig coffee maker in the home, and several coffee shops nearby. Such a cute little tow. We enjoyed time at the Adena Mansion, Hopewell National Historical Park and even hiking up in the orchard. If we would’ve thought to bring warm clothes, we could’ve enjoyed the fire pit. Plenty of towels and washcloths and even a hairdryer with diffuser under the sink. Very nice stay!!

Pit stop returning from vacation.
We thought the place was really special. Nicely decorated, nicely supplied and new. The only complaint I’d have is the lack of sound dampening. The noice from upstairs seemed to be amplified- more of an echo effect. Otherwise, two thumbs up.

Very clean, cozy rental that is pet-friendly with lots of places to eat and shop nearby, along with some neat parks also within short drive from property. Rental location is quiet, yet convenient to downtown Chillicothe. This listing is accurate for all amenities and host is super nice and easy to communicate with. Definitely will be back!
