Canal-Front Home with Heated Pool

Sunset Oasis was named for it's amazing views of the sunset. This fully remodeled spacious 2,700 sq. ft. 4 bedroom, 3 bath private pool home is on a peaceful canal with a dock that includes a kayak launch. The open living room offers breathtaking views of the canal and the Banana River, inviting you to kick back and enjoy your favorite movies, shows, or play board games and cards with the family. The downstairs Sunset Suite primary bedroom has panoramic views of the canal and a king size bed. Upstairs there is a cozy living space with a smart TV, two bedrooms, and another bathroom. Step out onto the upstairs balcony and take in the panoramic views, a perfect spot for sipping your morning coffee or unwinding with a glass of your favorite beverage in the evening. If you're in the mood for some adventure, you can take the two tandem top loading kayaks that are available out to explore the canal and Banana River. You may get a visit from the resident manatees and dolphins. With its central location just a few blocks from downtown Cocoa Beach, you'll have easy access to a variety of shops, restaurants, and entertainment options. It's just a short walk to the nearby beach. Everything you need for an amazing beach day has been provided. The house is well stocked and our goal is for guests to only need to pack their clothes and personal items to come and enjoy their stay. Everything about this house has been beautifully decorated and thoughtfully designed to maximize the views. The first floor of the home and even the brand new salt water pool is ADA accessible and heated from November through April. While everything has been updated inside and out, this amazing home still maintains it's original mid-century modern character with beautiful terrazzo floors and a Space Race Era photo gallery in the upstairs living room. Sunset Oasis is located, designed, and has all the amenities to provide the ultimate Cocoa Beach vacation!

Cameras are located at the front door exterior and overlooking the driveway for security. The property may be equipped with a decibel monitoring sensor located inside and outside of the home. This sensor is 100% privacy compliant since it only measures noise level and doesn't record any sounds. A rental agreement and security deposit hold are required.

This home is amazing! We had 4 adults and 4 children in our group. The home is incredibly clean and well appointed. We had plenty of supplies to get us through our trip. The backyard is so pretty. There’s a grassy area for the kiddos to play as well as a good sized swimming pool and dock. We spent hours fishing and playing out back. We saw manatee, stingray and dolphin. We used the kayaks to explore the nearby mangroves. The beach is 3 minutes away and the home is stocked with everything you need to enjoy the beach (chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, towels, etc.). We played games at night and really enjoyed cooking at home using the gorgeous kitchen which was stocked with everything we needed and more. Thank you for the a wonderful and relaxing vacation.

Awesome!

This is an incredible house. It is very spacious, comfortable, updated and everything you need. Everything is first class. The sunset views are incredible! The dolphins and Manatees come right up to the dock. Easy access to bay with kayaks. Walkable distance across the street to ocean/beaches. The owner is accessible and great to deal with from prior to arrival, during the stay and after you leave if you need anything. We did not want to leave, and we will be back!

Excellent!

The property worked out great for our short little family gathering. Our 3 grandchildren were with us and they thoroughly enjoyed the pool and the kayaks. Teresa steered us toward a couple of restaurants that worked out great. All in all it couldn’t have been better-we wouldn’t hesitate to rent it again!

Excellent for a Family vacation

Wonderful property for a great family getaway. If the view from the pool wasn’t enough, you get to see families of dolphins and manatees right off the dock. A truly wonderful stay with plenty of room and things to do with kids. The property was very well kept and clean.

Great place to relax and enjoy Cocoa Beach

We had a great stay at Sunset Oasis. The house was big enough and laid out so the kids had their own area to relax and hangout. The house had a wide variety of games which we took advantage of for game night. We chose Sunset Oasis based on its location on a canal and the pool and it was absolutely a great choice. We were able to spend most of our time on the water enjoying boat rides both day and night. The kitchen was well stocked and the house overall has been beautifully decorated. The neighborhood is quiet and a great place to spend a few days if you're looking to relax and enjoy Cocoa Beach!

Wonderful!!

A really fantastic vacation property with everything you need for a great stay! Owners have obviously gone to great lengths to make it a wonderful property- and keep it that way! Every detail was taken care of! Would definitely recommend - especially for families! My teens enjoyed having their own space as well as lots of things to do. We saw both manatees and dolphins from the dock multiple times!

Beautiful home

Clean, beautiful, high end home. Neighborhood not so much but that’s cocoa beach. We loved the house and had a wonderful time. Lots of personal touches to make it extra nice for families.

Perfect For Us!

This property was perfect for our clan of 5 adults and 2 toddlers. Spent a lot of time in/around the pool, and the ramp was where the toddlers spent a lot of time playing. There is plenty of shade or sun depending on preferences. The layout of the house couldn't have been better - the toddler family upstairs and remaining adults in the two spacious downstairs bedrooms. Walk to nearby playground and park was a bonus, and short drive to beach was easy. Stores etc. all close by. 5 days of happiness for us!

Great stay, wonderful view, wish I could have stayed all week.

WOW! Quite a find. Beautiful home, quiet neighborhood. View of pool and river from the spacious patio is indescribable. All handicap accessible bathrooms and pool. I will plan ahead for a full week at this Oasis, especially since I can bring a friend who needs a wheelchair-friendly place to enjoy. Great memory of having dinner on the patio while overlooking the pool and sunset.

Family getaway

The house met all our needs…..clean, well stocked kitchen, comfortable sleeping anrrangements and a lovely setting in Cocoa Beach. I would have rated it 5 stars/Excllent if the pool had been heated as advertised. Not sure what the problem was….but definitely a disappointment. In spite of that the dolphins out front were very entertaining and one of our grandchildren enjoyed kayaking from the dock.

Great property!

This home was beautiful, with a lovely pool overlooking the canal. It was a bit chilly while we were there, so we were grateful the pool was heated and could be enjoyed by the kids. The house had plenty of room for our family of 4 adults and 2 kids. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed to fix meals. The provided snack basket was a nice touch! The property manager even contacted me to let us know there was a launch one morning from Cape Canaveral. We had planned that as our activity for the day, and made sure to arrive in time to watch the rocket launch. The nearby beach was lovely and uncrowded. Lots of nearby restaurants and grocery stores. We will definitely stay here again if in the area.

My family of 6 had a great Fall Break at Sunset Oasis! The house is beautifully decorated and organized. We enjoyed all the little extras that were thought of and included in the house. There was nothing that we were saying we wished we had with us. We were greeted with a basket of snacks on the counter and bottled water in the fridge which was greatly appreciated after arriving! This house is setup so that all you need to bring are clothes and personal items which is nice when you are flying in. It was a super short drive to the public beach and the house had all that we needed for the beach.Theresa was a wonderful host and super responsive to any needs we had during our stay. She even went as far as to let us know when rocket launches were happening. While the house was clean we did find dog hair on the lamp shades, sliding door track, and random other places. We were informed the owners of the house do have a dog. The house states no pets, but for those who may be allergic to dogs beware that this house is not a completely dog free home. Other than that we were super impressed with the cleanliness of the house.

Great property

We enjoyed our stay. The pool and kayaks were a big hit with our children! Lots of amenities at this location, we were thoroughly impressed by a lack of needing to bring much at all. Tons of games, great accommodations, lots of space. The only two things I’d want to know of I would have stayed again is that the king bed is a foam or foam topper. If you’re a stomach sleeper it’s really not comfortable. I did not sleep well. Also the cameras at the property feel a bit invasive. I understand the need for them but it also feels a little unsettling being that we were contacted twice about different things at the property during our stay that could only be known through watch of a camera.

I'm so happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay at Sunset Oasis. We take pride in providing lots of amenities for an enjoyable stay. I'm sorry that you didn't find the bed comfortable. It's a high quality mattress and topper that most guests enjoy. When the guest arrived, the owner's private garage was accidentally left unlocked. We apologized about the mistake and are implementing a new lock system/procedure to ensure this won't happen again. The neighbors contacted us to let us know it was windy and items were left at the canal and could have blown/floated away. We asked the guests to put the items away to prevent losing them. This information came from the neighbors, not any cameras. We respect all our guests' privacy. The cameras at the property that could view a guest are fully disclosed in our listing information and in full compliance with Vrbo's privacy rules. They only cover the pool equipment (an area guests should not be in) and public areas for security purposes (ring doorbell, driveway, street in front of the house, and public canal at the back of the property). There are no cameras in any interior guest areas or able to view exterior pool/back yard patio areas.

Wonderful family holiday

We had a great visit to the Space Coast of Florida. This updated home exceeded our expectations in many ways. The living spaces are even larger than they appear in the photos. The size allowed for our group to spend time together as well enjoy your own space at times. All of the conveniences of home could be found in the kitchen cupboards. We marveled at Florida's natural beauty of the intercoastal lifestyle including sunsets, manatees, dolphins, pelicans and more. We walked to the beach in 10 minutes several days to see the sunrise. We were lucky to experience 3 launches during our stay. There is a very informative handbook for the house and vicinity created by the hosts. The only shortcoming for us was the pool temperature which ranged between 58 and 65 degrees. The heat pump is new so I think there is still a learning curve to overcome with its operation. We had a great stay overall and would definitely return again without hesitation.

Weekend boat races

The house was beautiful, clean and located perfect for the area we spent most of our time downtown. The snacks and coffee bar were a great addition. We were let in early which was helpful and quick communication with the host. Only downfall was a “reported neighbor” reported to the host that there was a large amount of people at the house which there was not and we did have some friends drop off our beach chairs off they were very strict saying no one else allowed on the property that was not on the list other than the only strict 8 people who were sleeping there. I was told I needed to go to someone else house or meet my friends at a park. I assured her I didn’t have anyone else extra at the house and that we weren’t event there and she was suffice with that. I did ask the host initially if I was able to have a dinner meeting there as I have done at every rental and she needed so many specific details as to how many cars, people, what time start/end and I felt it wasn’t worth the hassle and didn’t want any reason to be harassed on my vacation/race event. There were a lot of rules posted everywhere as to no swimming by yourself and no swimming and quiet hours after 10pm. We were never there for long periods as we had other events to attend to. If you are visiting any family or friends close by just know they can’t come to your house and there is a ring doorbell camera that dings everyone you or someone walks in and out the door. Fiu

Wonderful Cocoa Beach home

This property has it all! They supply all beach items from beach chairs, bogie boards, life jackets, sand toys, cooler and a beach wagon to haul everything in. If you are traveling with a small child there is an umbrella stroller, high chair, booster seat, pack n play, books and games. This house is well stocked; they provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hand soap in all the bathrooms. They also provide plenty of towels for the bathrooms, kitchen and pool. The kitchen is well stocked, even for the little ones. Hand soap and dish soap is provided in the kitchen. The laundry room also has soap and dryer sheets. The pictures are very accurate! The only thing I think was deceiving is the pool is way bigger than the pictures make it look. Our adult children enjoyed taking out the kayak's; very nice perk. We enjoyed eating breakfast outside every morning. We did get to see dolphins and a manatee off in the bay; not super close but still fun to see. There are multiple infant life jackets so my one year old grandson was also able to go out on the kayak's. We had a wonderful time staying at this house! Side note, you can easily walk to multiple beach access points. If you walk to Lori Wilson Park there are bathrooms and a shower to rinse off the sand. I would also recommend ordering food from Brano's Italian grill; they provide family take out meals, wonderful food and a lot of it.

Modern house in a quiet but wonderful neighborhood

We saw dolphins and manatees EVERYDAY! In the morning and at dusk. The kids/teens loved to fish off of the deck. The house was wonderful for 10 people. The kitchen was stocked with pots/pans, spices, solo cups, detergent for the dishwasher, a few trash bags, etc. We only had to go to the store for food and drinks. There were pool towels for the saltwater pool and fluffy shower, hand, and wash towels. The master bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was very spacious with plenty of TP under the sink. My only suggestion would be to bring house shoes. The master and the first floor were all hardwood, tile, etc. By the end of the week my feet were tired ;) But it could possibly have been my fault as I did morning runs in the neighborhood a few days and took long walks on the beach. The upstairs carpet, however, was super thick and soft, and the kids loved it. The neighbors were extremely nice and even set out the trash cans one night because we were out later than normal, and they didn't want us to forget. The host, Teresa was very professional and polite. There were tiny housekeeping items I brought to her attention and her husband Pat was over a few hours later and addressed all of them. Thank you so much Teresa & Pat! Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back.
