Wonderful property, peaceful, quiet, not a neighbor in sight. The host left thoughtful details throughout the property like a recipe and ingredients for amazing hot chocolate, local details about the area, makeup towels and other essentials. The host thought of everything and the stay was very pleasant, we enjoyed being able to hear nature and watch the tide roll in and out from the screened in porch as well as watching the birds from the breakfast nook.

Everything was perfect! We loved the location and the house. Secluded but not too far from everything. The house was clean and very comfortable.

Wow! VRBO should change the rating system for a stay like this because 5 stars isn't enough! This property is truly beautiful, comfortable, and well-appointed with everything you could need and then some. An extremely clean and extremely well kept property! Fantastic communication and directions from the host, great suggestions for our trip down, and suggestions for cool spots in the area. My only problem is we didnt stay longer! 11/10! Thank you!

Beautiful, clean, well appointed house in a peaceful setting. Easy & quick (20 minute) access to Assateague & Ocean City beaches without the chaos of staying in OC. Berlin and Snow Hill are fun historic eastern shore towns to explore. Take a day trip south to Pokomoke State Park for a calming non-beach nature experience. So nice we booked it again on our first day there.

This place was perfect. Beds were comfy, it had everything i needed in the kitchen, secluded enough to feel like you were alone with nature but close enough to drive to tourist attractions. Literally everything we we looking for. Added bonus was napping in the screened in porch.

This family friendly home was well appointed and offered the comforts of home. The host thought of everything you might need or want for your vacation. We hope to stay there again soon. The time that was put into getting this home ready for guests was very appreciated. Thank you David and Veronica

My experience at this home was absolutely outstanding. The house has amazing views. It is clean, comfortable and stocked with everything you could need. We spent so much time outdoors, enjoying the screened in porch, the dock and the kayaks. You are close enough to local attractions while still secluded enough to enjoy the nature around you. David, the host, is wonderful. He accommodated us with a special request. His communication is top notch. I highly recommend Casa Blue Heron (and we did see many Blue Herons during our stay)!

We had a great stay during our recent wrestling tournament weekend. The property was exactly what we needed—peaceful, relaxing, and a perfect place to unwind after long days of competition.Our kids especially loved the kayaks, which were a huge hit and gave them something fun to look forward to outside of the tournament. The setting itself is quiet and scenic, making it easy to recharge and enjoy some family time in between matches.Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we’d absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a calm, comfortable getaway—especially families traveling for events like we were.

Awesome beach Getaway

How lucky were we to find this little gem near the beach. OMG We cannot say enough good things about it. So spacious and yet still cozy. Close to everything yet far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet. House decor is perfect. Not too beachy yet quite stylish and relaxing. Sooo many rooms, beds and sofas to enjoy. Awesome screened in sunroom and Water views from just about everywhere in the house. If no water view, then it's woods and fields. Huge tall windows that show the trees and light that you feel like you're sleeping outside. Place was exceptionally clean and well stocked with everything for your stay. Lots of birds, crabs and other woodland and canal critters to enjoy. Rooftop deck has a spectacular view of canal. Beds cozy and very comfortable. We even enjoyed the firepit one morning. Truly highly recommend this lovely home to anyone wanting a home away from home. Host David is wonderful and was very helpful with our questions regarding the house and surrounding area. He was even able to extend our stay a day longer (). We Will definitely be back during another season just to enjoy a different atmosphere. Thank you again so much!

(Just so people reading this know, crabbing here can be hit or miss depending a lot of the water temps and they've been pretty high lately, unfortunately for the crabs.) This was by far the best place we have ever stayed. Super clean, very comfortable, host was amazing, and the area was beautiful. Will definitely stay here again.

Quiet and secluded, about a 30 min drive to Chincoteague and Wallops, and an even shorter drive to Assateague. We spent time here bird watching, kayaking, and sitting by a fire. Clean, comfortable, and couldn’t ask for better communication with host. We highly recommend.

We had the nicest time at this house! The pictures really don’t do this place justice. We loved using the kayaks, screened-in porch, dock, and fire pit. Everything was so clean and the kitchen was stacked with everything you would need. In addition, the host was very communicative and we appreciated his kindness.
