Large Family Trip

This was a perfect place for our large family of 12 to stay while we played tourists in Memphis! The kids loved the pool and we enjoyed the space outside to relax after being on our feet all day. The old charm of the house was also so fun!

Our Memphis Trip

Our stay at the Memphis Manor was ideal for the occasion. It was conveniently located for all that we did while in town. It was a great place for our family to gather during the loss of our grandfather. The Memphis Manor was very spacious, had an amazing kitchen, and plenty of outdoor space and activities. We highly recommend this location for large families.

We really felt at home. The swings on porch were a necessity for us. That’s our wind down space. The bushes behind one makes it difficult to use and they were built with seat upside down (hurts your legs) but we still did our swinging. We didn’t have salt which we kinda thought would be there but thank you for the dash seasoning. Beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the pool and hot tub greatly. Appreciated having towels and soap available in the bathrooms. A lock in all of bathrooms would have been nice. The toilet in the master bathroom would not flush. Great for a family weekend!

Thanks for staying with us and for the thoughtful review! So glad you felt at home and that the porch swings, pool, hot tub, beds, and stocked towels/soap worked well for your family weekend. Sorry about the swing seat being installed upside down and the bushes making that spot tricky — I’ll have maintenance flip the seat and trim the bushes so it’s comfortable. Also sorry the master toilet wouldn’t flush and that salt was missing — both will be addressed right away. We’ll look into adding locks to the bathrooms for extra privacy. Appreciate the feedback and hope to host you again sometime soon! — Home Team Vacation Rentals

Excellent - didn’t want to leave!

Stay was excellent! It was everything advertised and communication with host was great. Tons to do in the house. We have littles and it was great to keep us entertained during nap and early bedtimes. I’d love to go back around the holidays and bake in the kitchen. Our kids loved it. Our 3 year old is still sad we had to leave our “bay-cation” home.Highly recommend!

We rented this vrbo to host a family dinner in the yard. My fiancee and i eloped in front of our family. I cleared this with the property owner ahead of time. The property manager was amazing. The house was mostly clean when we arrived, there was trash in the trash cans and the dryer had the extra blankets in it, the yard was not as well maintained as in the photos but we cleaned things up and managed to have a great afternoon. While the property and the managers were great, the neighbors make you feel like you’re committing a crime. We had an older gentleman filming us as we unloaded belongings into the home. The night of the event at 9pm we were notified that there were complaints from neighbors even though there were only a few of us outside with music playing at a volume that could not be heard at the fence line much less over the fence, while they had a german shepherd bark its head off all day. Again the host and the house were great, the house property could have been better maintained but that aside i was very happy with the rental. The neighbors are a bunch of karens.

Stunning Holiday Family Stay - super clean and fun!!

It's truly a grand old house in a beautiful neighborhood. I saw lots of families walking and if it was warmer, we would have walked to a coffee house I saw nearby. I wish it was closer to summer so we could have spent more time outside, but the hot tub and fire pit were nice and that outside bathroom was gorgeous! We even found a friendly cat that needed pets! The kitchen actually had everything we needed to cook our Thanksgiving dinner! And the dining room had all the space for it. We spent our nights playing games and doing puzzles on the table in there. Our kids loved the game room. They played so much air hockey and pool and ping pong. That really was a life saver for the kids to have something to do inside. Most of them were teens, so this was perfect. The amount of beds, rooms and bathrooms was perfect for our large group. Also, everything was amazingly clean. I have zero complaints at all about dust or evidence of anyone who had stayed before. I would stay here again and would also 100% recommend it to friends needing a big place to gather for the holidays.

Beautiful house and property!

We just finished an amazing weekend stay at this house with my husbands family for Fathers Day. It was perfect for all age ranges with a shaded/ceiling fan area outside for the grandparents to sit and watch their children and grandchildren play in the pool. The outside area is a dream! Outdoor grill/kitchen/fridge and a bathroom/shower so you don't have to go inside wet, comfy seating, amazing pool and hot tub, fire pit all surrounded by trees, bushes and flowers. We spent most of our time outside but inside is just as beautiful! Chefs dream kitchen with dual ovens, warming drawer and gas range. Game room with a pool table that easily converts into air hockey and ping pong. Large dining room table perfect for board games and meals. Plenty of space in the bedrooms with everyone commenting on how comfortable the beds were. This was a perfect spot for our family to gather and we have already said we will be making this an annual getaway! The hosts were very responsive with the few questions we had and the place was very clean and is kept in wonderful condition. We had zero issues with our cars parked on the street in front of the house. Can’t wait to plan our next gathering here!

We loved the backyard space, especially the pool. The location was great, close to lots of activities.Host was very responsive to our needs, although a few things weren’t working properly and needed more attention, hard to get maintenance out.Enjoyed use of all of the amenities, including the pool table, hot tub, fire pit and outdoor seating. We especially like the charm of an older home with the big front porch.

Thanks so much, Lila! I’m glad the backyard, pool, front porch and amenities added to your stay — and that the location worked well for your plans. Sorry about the items that weren’t working and the delay getting maintenance out; I’ll follow up with the team to get those fixed and improve response time. Appreciate the helpful feedback and the kind words about the home’s charm — hope to host you again down the road.
