Absolutely stunning view from this little beach cabin. The description clearly states to be aware of all the steps from street level down to the cabin, but I will say it's no lie! We are 70 and in decent shape, but actually planned our trips out to be VERY infrequent because of this. Had to take "catch you breath" stops during the climb up. I hope they come up with a bit better pulley and basket system to get luggage up and down. Large tote would catch on boards coming up and down. Add some wheels? Also, the steps to the beach only go so far, then suddenly stop forcing you to use large boulders. I chose to use motel steps nearby instead. The larger bedroom and bathroom are upstairs too. That being said, remodel is nice with wood cladding all around, really making it feel cabin-cozy. Kitchen supplies are adequate.Host asks that you wash and dry towels before leaving. TINY washer would only hold a couple of larger towels and 1 small towel. I did 2 "loads" the night before leaving, but we used shower and of course towels the morning we left, so we left those behind. Didn't feel comfortable leaving a washing machine running upon departure. Seems like a lot to ask of guests considering the amount paid to stay.I've pointed out some negative things, but the cabin itself is lovely. The view is spectacular. Being lulled to sleep by the sound of the ocean is what beach trips are for. Bandon is lovely as always!
