Spirit Lake Manor - Private - Hot Tub - RRG

Thank you so much for the 10/10 review! We're glad you enjoyed the cabin and had a wonderful stay! The kitchen is stocked with all the basic cookware and utensils, but we appreciate your feedback and will have our team double-check the inventory to ensure everything is properly stocked. The cabin does utilize well water, which can occasionally have a slight sulfur smell. We appreciate you sharing these helpful tips for future guests and hope to welcome you back to the Gorge again soon! Lunch

Kellea, thank you for sharing your feedback! We’re glad you enjoyed the cabin, convenient location, and easy access to the many activities around the Gorge. We’re sorry to hear about the towels and appreciate you bringing the exterior cleaning to our attention so our team can address it. Because GPS can sometimes be unreliable in the Red River Gorge area, we provide every guest with a detailed cabin guide that includes written driving directions as well as a Google Maps pin placed directly on the cabin to make finding the property as easy as possible. We appreciate you choosing RRG Getaways and hope to welcome you back for another getaway!

Hey Chelsea, thank you so much for your kind words about our team. We’re really glad you felt supported and taken care of throughout your stay. We’re sorry to hear the cleanliness didn’t fully meet expectations. That’s definitely not the standard we aim for, and we’ll be sharing this feedback with our housekeeping team to make sure we tighten things up moving forward. We truly appreciate you still wanting to return. It means a lot to us, and we’d love the opportunity to host you again and provide an even better experience next time.

Eric, we're very sorry that your return visit did not live up to your previous experience with us. We appreciate you bringing these concerns to our attention. We had experienced some very heavy rainstorms in the area, which unfortunately contributed to the muddy and eroded conditions around the outdoor grill area. We completely understand how inconvenient that would have been. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the AC, doors, and outdoor areas. Our team is following up on these items so they can be properly addressed. Being a waterfront cabin surrounded by nature, mosquitoes, spiders, and other insects can certainly be more prevalent, particularly during the summer months, but we understand the conditions you encountered impacted your ability to enjoy the deck. We're sorry this stay fell short, especially as a returning guest, and appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with us.

We're so glad you enjoyed your stay! Hopefully we can host you on your next trip to the Gorge!

Stephen, we’re very sorry to hear that your stay did not meet expectations. We know how frustrating it is to experience an AC issue during a trip, particularly when it affects your ability to comfortably sleep. Our team communicated with you the first evening and, based on our conversation, understood that the system was running again. When you reached out the following day to let us know that the downstairs had cooled but the upstairs was still warm, our team offered to have maintenance come out the following day. We did not receive a response to that message, so unfortunately it appears there was some miscommunication regarding whether you wanted us to proceed with the visit. We certainly would have preferred the opportunity to continue troubleshooting the issue during your stay. We’re also sorry to hear about your concerns with the cleanliness, grill area, water, and outdoor spaces. These are not the conditions we want our guests to experience, and we appreciate you bringing them to our attention so our team can follow up appropriately. We wish we could have resolved more of these concerns while you were at the cabin, but we appreciate your feedback and will use it to help improve the experience for future guests.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re glad to hear you found the cabin nice and clean. Parking is limited at this property but can fit two standard-sized vehicles when pulled in correctly. As for the water level, the area is currently affected by a dam repair that has temporarily lowered the lake, making it appear more like a creek at times. We hope it will be restored soon and appreciate your understanding in the meantime.

We’re very sorry to hear about your experience and appreciate you sharing your feedback. The main road leading into Paradise Valley is gravel, with the steepest portion fully paved. Our housekeeping team drives standard 2WD vehicles and is able to reach the cabin daily without issue. It’s a beautiful and peaceful area, and we’re sorry the drive made it difficult for you to enjoy your stay. It is good to note for future guests that some of the roads in the RRG area are very steep.

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We’re glad to hear you still enjoyed your stay and appreciated the cabin’s cleanliness and amenities. We’re sorry for the maintenance details you encountered — we’ve addressed the flooring and outdoor cleanup with our team to ensure a smoother experience for future guests. As for the lake, it’s currently reduced due to an ongoing dam repair outside of our control, but we hope it will be restored soon. We truly appreciate your understanding and hope to welcome you back again once it’s full and flowing!

Thank you so much for sharing your thoughtful feedback! We’re glad to hear you enjoyed your stay at Spirit Lake Manor and found the cabin clean, cozy, and memorable. The roads into the Gorge can definitely be an adventure, and we appreciate you highlighting that for future guests. We’ll also be sure to look into your notes on the flooring and deck bracing. We’re so happy you had a wonderful stay surrounded by nature, and we hope to welcome you back to any of our RRG Getaway properties again soon!

Thank you for sharing such detailed feedback! I’m glad to hear you found the cabin cute, clean, and peaceful with plenty of wildlife to enjoy. You’re right that the cabin sits on a narrow part of the lake, and depending on rainfall, the water level can sometimes be very low. We do send all guests a detailed cabin guide with driving directions and property notes right after booking, but I’m happy we were able to get you the directions quickly when you called. We take pride in being available to help guests quickly if anything should arise. The road leading in does include a steep hill, though the steepest section is fully paved before it transitions back to gravel in the private valley. We always recommend a 4WD/AWD vehicle for the most comfortable access. Thank you also for your notes on the sheets and parking—we’ll review these with our team. We truly appreciate your feedback and are happy you enjoyed the remote setting.

Thank you so much for your honest feedback and for giving the cabin a chance despite the issues you encountered. We’re very sorry to hear about the condition of the sheets—this is definitely not the standard we aim to uphold. We’ve since made sure that fresh, clean linens are properly stocked and double-checked for every stay. We’ve also followed up with our cleaning team to ensure more thorough inspections moving forward. We really appreciate your kind words about the cabin and your understanding overall. We’d love the opportunity to host you again and provide a much smoother experience next time.
