The home was clean and well stocked with kitchen items and supplies. It is a bit of a challenge to unload luggage etc, but since the yard was dry, we were allowed to drive onto the yard & enter through the front door. The location is very scenic, but it is definitely out in the countryside, with many narrow roads. The host communicated very promptly & was very gracious.

Maria and her group were exemplary guests of our home. They treated it as their own over their stay. They left it tidy and ready for our cleaning team to execute a quick turnaround. Communication was prompt and clear. We would not hesitate to rent to her anytime in the future.

Beautiful location & home

House sat overlooking beautiful green rolling hills. The property was well kept and had all the room needed for a family of 6.

We stayed at the property while visiting distilleries in the area. It was perfect for us — 2 couples, no kids — each couple had their own bedroom & bathroom. We enjoyed evenings on the deck in back of the house and also having coffee & a quick breakfast on site before heading to our scheduled distillery visits. It’s a quiet, clean house and we enjoyed the rural setting and would book again when we’re in the area. Our hosts quickly responded when we had any questions.

We loved our stay here. It is in the country with beautiful views. We had deer that came within a couple hundred feet of us as we sat on the back deck in the morning. Although it is off the beaten path, it is still very easy to get to several locations on the bourbon trail. There are steep steps to the rear entrance, but we knew this from pictures and had no issues with it. We kept purchases in the lower level (garage) so we did not have to carry it up the steps. We kept very busy, so we did not get to use the game room, but we hope to on the next trip. Thank you for sharing your place with us!

A slice of Heaven in Kentucky

Our entire group agreed this home was incredible. Perfectly appointed with everything you could need. Plenty of room for our group of five. We loved sitting on the back deck and enjoying the rolling hills. Clean property and a wonderful host. We will stay here again when back in town.

Relaxing spot

Some friends and I met up to do some bourbon tours and play golf. The location is quiet and central. We visited bourbon locations near Frankfort and Louisville. Our host was helpful in recommending a few great local restaurants and bourbon spots. The home was clean and organized. The check in and out process was easy. The deck was a great location to enjoy some bourbon with a nice view.

Exactly as described and one of the best rentals I have stayed in. Lately the rentals just shove everything in without a thought, like they went to goodwill and got a box of utensils and just tipped them in a draw. This had absolutely everything we needed but neat, clean and organised we ended up doing two dinners and all our breakfasts here. It was so quiet and the love the back deck especially at sunset.This property is rural but we still only had a short drive to everything and the drive was cute country roads mostly. Yes I would recommend this property.

Five Stars All Around. Amazing!

My wife & I stayed here with another couple as we planned on exploring the sites & bourbon trail. The property is far enough out of the way to be peaceful & quiet with beautiful scenery, but close enough for convenient travel. This place was clean, had very comfortable beds, it was spacious, organized, had all the amenities you need & the owners were very helpful & responsive. Nice Home

Danny, was always available when we had questions. The home is located in the country so it was very peaceful, the bedrooms were spacious, 2 full bathrooms made it convenient for everyone to shower and get dressed on time. I loved the layout of kitchen and home was located near the chruch we had to attend on Saturday. We will definitely stay at this property when we return to Kentucky for our family reunion in 2025.

Nice property

Clean, upscale, beautiful views in the country, but close to distilleries. My only concern is access. To offload luggage you must park in back and carry up stairs to house. No access to front door of property for easy access.

Great Quiet & Relaxing Place to Stay

Stayed at this property as our home base for doing the bourbon trail. House is fairly new and clean. It may not get rented out as much because it did have an unused smell when we first arrived. Plenty of towels and furniture was very comfortable. We had fun in the game room in the basement after our daily travels! Be aware that this property is located out in the country where the roads are very dark and curvy and some of the roads are only 1 lane making it a bit stressful to drive at night. It is located about 20 minutes from Bardstown. But other than that, had great communication with the host and enjoyed the relaxing environment that this property offered.

My co-host Andrew and I are college friends who have a passion for bourbon and the bluegrass state. Between us, we have toured and tasted our way through 25 distilleries all through out Kentucky, gaining a wealth of knowledge and experience that we are happy to share. Danny resides in Cincinnati, Ohio with his wife and son while Andrew, his wife and two sons call Louisville, KY their home. We are beyond excited to welcome guests to this property and hope that you enjoy it so much that you come back time and time again. There is certainly plenty to do and explore in the area which is one of the reasons we sought this opportunity out. This home was built in 2018 and features updated appliances, two full bathrooms including a garden tub as well as a spacious outdoor space. The best view is out the back of the property from the deck which overlooks a 170 acre tree farm in the distance once our 6+ acres is done. The rolling hills of Kentucky, the peacefulness and stillness of the country remind us of simpler times. We regularly visit the property with our families to enjoy the local eateries and shops. The little town of Bloomfield has a picturesque downtown with Ernie's tavern which is our favorite dinner spot as well as several local shops to explore. Downtown Bardstown is a lot of fun as well and close enough to enjoy the historic Talbott Tavern for lunch or dinner as well as walk around and taste rare bourbons. There is always something for everyone happening in or around Bardstown, the Kentucky Dinner train is a guest favorite attraction and there is a host of other fairs, bazaars and shows that call this area home.
Although the home is a ranch style, guests will need to navigate stairs in order to access the home. The property is sloped and the driveway takes you to the basement/garage area, where you will proceed up the back deck stairs to the rear entry door with an electronic keypad for the deadbolt lock.

Our home features brand new furnishings throughout, a King size bed in the primary suite and two Queens in each of the other bedrooms. The fully stocked kitchen is ready to handle any meal that you want to throw down in it. The deck or the front porch is a great place to enjoy the evening and sip on your favorite adult beverage or recover from your bourbon trail journey of the day. The basement/game room area has a ping pong table as well as a foosball table for guests to enjoy during their visit.
